Enrolment and Payment Terms and Conditions for Cox Academy of Irish Dance
Effective Date: 1 January, 2025
By enrolling in classes with Cox Academy of Irish Dance ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("the student" or "parent/guardian" if the student is under 18) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Enrolment
1.1 Enrolment in our classes is confirmed once a completed enrolment form is submitted and payment arrangements have been made.
1.2 All students must adhere to the academy’s code of conduct and safety guidelines to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Payment Options:
Fees are to be paid in weekly instalments
Weekly instalments must be paid within 7 days of the due date.
2.2 Late Payments/Cancellations:
Payments not made within 7 days of the due date will incur a $10 late fee for each week that the payment remains unpaid.
We reserve the right to cancel enrolment if fees are not paid within 30 days of the due date.
2.3 Refund Policy:
Fees are non-refundable except in cases of prolonged illness or injury, supported by medical documentation.
Requests for refunds must be made in writing and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Safety and Wellbeing
3.1 The safety and wellbeing of our students are our top priority.
3.2 All staff members aged 18 and over hold current Working with Children Checks, as required by law.
3.3 Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or other information that may affect the student’s participation in dance classes.
3.4 Students must follow all safety instructions provided by staff during classes, events, and performances.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Enrolments may be cancelled by the student or parent/guardian by providing written notice at least XX days before the start of the next term.
4.2 Cox Academy of Irish Dance reserves the right to cancel an enrolment due to:
Non-payment of fees as outlined in Section 2.
Behaviour that is deemed unsafe or disruptive to others.
5. Photography and Videography
5.1 Photos and videos may be taken during classes, events, and performances for promotional purposes.
5.2 Consent for photography and videography must be indicated on the enrolment form.
6. Liability Waiver
6.1 By enrolling, you acknowledge that dance activities carry inherent risks, and Cox Academy of Irish Dance is not liable for injuries or accidents that occur during classes or events unless caused by our negligence.
6.2 Students are encouraged to have their own accident insurance coverage.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
7.1 Cox Academy of Irish Dance reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or on our website.
