Freestyle Fanatics Expectations
Payment Schedule
All payments for classes must be paid in full at the on the 1st of each month. If the fees are not paid by this date your child will not be able to attend dance. This will stand until the fees are paid.
Preffered method of payment is by bank transfer. If paying cash for any reason, it must be in a sealed envelope with the child’s name and date of payment written on. All fees are non-refundable regardless of attendance.
Payment for competition tickets must be paid in cash in a sealed envelope by the Wednesday before the competition.
Dance uniform
Dancers will be expected to attend class in Freestyle Fanatics uniform. We have a range of items available. Please order direct from starrdancewear.com . We also ask that dancers are well presented with hair tied up neatly to ensure they perform and look their best at each class.
Comp dancers must bring trainers to class for Rock and Roll and outdoor training.
Behaviour
Freestyle Fanatics states that any unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated, either within the Dance Studio or at any event/performance/ competition where Freestyle Fanatics is being represented.
Unacceptable behaviour may result in the pupil's exclusion from the school. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated from parents/carers or other family members and could result in parent/carers or family members been banned from events/performances/ competitions.
Unacceptable behaviour includes -disruption of the running of dance class, swearing, spitting, fighting and derogatory comments towards others.
Most importantly whilst at examinations/performances/events/ competitions you are all ambassadors and representatives of Freestyle Fanatics and we expect you to behave in a manner showing this.
You are encouraged to fully support your school and the dancers within it.
Should any issues arise that are a cause for concern, please let Kirsty or Michelle know and we will deal with the situation appropriately.
Class Etiquette
Ø Arrive on time
Ø Wear the appropriate dance wear and footwear (rock and roll)
Ø Act in a polite and professional manner towards teachers and students.
Ø Dancers must bring their own water capped water bottle as drinks will not be provided.
Ø Children must ask if they wish to leave the room during lesson time.
Ø No hot drinks allowed in the studio
Ø No bad language to be used.

Disabilities Policy
Freestyle Fanatics recognises that it has clear obligations towards all its students to ensure that they are all afford the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Freestyle Fanatics tries to anticipate the needs of all students who join with a disability or special need, or who become impaired during their course of study. The aim is that no one should be disadvantaged in any way.
If students have impairment, or have special requirements, they are encouraged to inform us as soon as possible (usually on the application form). We rely on the parent/student to tell us what is needed. This will give us time to check that we can meet particular needs or, if not, make sure that suitable provision is in place by the time that students arrive. This policy embraces the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Health and Safety Policy
Freestyle Fanatics aims to keep the working environment clean, tidy and free from hazards. Our teachers endeavour to conduct dance classes in a safe and proper manner, encouraging good warm-up and cool-down practices and supplementing the syllabus exercises by keeping abreast of the most up to date thinking in dance/sport medicine.
Freestyle Fanatics is a Covid secure buisness. We have all measures in place to provide a safe environment for children to dance. A full risk assessment has been carried out to assess all risks. If your child has any symptoms of COVID-19 or has been in contact with anyone who has symptoms they must not attend dance class.
First Aid
Freestyle
Fanatics will comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid)
Regulations 1981.
First aid boxes are located on the premises and checked on a monthly basis by
the manager and where necessary the contents replenished. The minimum legal
provision of a suitably stocked first aid box will always be
met.
