Child Protection & Safeguarding

  • The school has a duty of care to all our students. All our teachers are DBS checked and insured and we are committed to safeguarding practices.
  • Children under the age of 12 must not leave the premises without their parent/guardian and will be kept in the classroom until collected.
  • Children must be dropped off at the classroom by an adult at the start of class. Parents/guardians must ensure they get in to the classroom safely
  • At the end of class students will be escorted to the car park for collection by their grown up.
  • Children under the age of 5 must have a parent/guardian on site and easily contactable at all times throughout their class in case of an emergency
  • Myself or my assistant can accompany children to the toilet when necessary/if the appropriate adult is not in the area immediately outside the classroom, otherwise we will accompany the child to find their appropriate adult for toilet trips.

Health and Safety

  • When registering your child it is important that we are made aware of any health issues, disabilities or SEND your child may have.
