JRDA Terms and Conditions


Welcome to Jeya Raveendran Dance Academy (JRDA). By enrolling your child or yourself in our classes, you agree to the following terms.


1. Payments

  • Classes run on a monthly subscription basis. You must provide valid card details when signing up.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure there are enough funds in the account each month.

  • If your card expires or is no longer in use, you must update your details without delay.

  • Late payments that are not resolved after reminders will incur a five pound late fee. Failure to respond to payment reminders, calls or messages may result in your place at JRDA being terminated.

  • Pay as You Go payments are charged at the time of purchase and do not carry any ongoing commitment.


2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions are non refundable.

  • To cancel a subscription, you must provide thirty days notice.

  • Pay as You Go customers may cancel or request a refund before the booked class.

  • If JRDA cancels a class, a replacement class or credit will be offered. Replacement classes may not take place in your usual location or time.


3. Attendance

  • Classes run once per week for one hour.

  • Students are expected to attend regularly to ensure consistent learning and progress.

  • A minimum of thirty days notice is required to cancel your place.


4. Health and Safety

  • Parents and guardians must complete medical information during sign up and must update it if there are any changes.

  • JRDA is not liable for injuries except in cases of proven negligence.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the drop off and collection of children. JRDA is not responsible for students outside the studio before or after class.

  • Parents and guardians must meet the teacher at the first class for handover.

  • To reduce the risk of injury, students must take part in warm ups, wear suitable clothing and footwear, and remove jewellery before class.


5. Performances and Shows

  • Participation in shows requires commitment to rehearsals, punctuality, costume fees and performance fees where applicable.

  • Parents are encouraged to purchase tickets to support events.

  • Risk assessments are carried out for each show, and chaperones are present at events and shows to ensure student safety.


6. Behaviour and Conduct

  • Respect must be shown to teachers, staff, students and other parents at all times.

  • JRDA promotes inclusivity and has a zero tolerance approach to bullying.

  • Any disruptive, disrespectful or unsafe behaviour from students, parents or guardians may lead to removal from JRDA without refund.

  • Respect for venues and studios is also expected at all times.


7. Safeguarding and Safety

  • JRDA is covered by public liability insurance.

  • A safeguarding policy is in place to protect students.


Agreement

By enrolling at JRDA, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These may be updated from time to time and parents will be notified of any changes.
