Class Payment

·        Payment for classes are to be made via direct debit/standing order.

How monthly payments will work:

·        Payment will be split over 12 months.

·         Dancers and gymnasts will have a total of 7 weeks deducted from their payment:

·        3 weeks off for Christmas

·        2 weeks in the summer

·        1 week at Easter

·        1 week for any session that may need to be cancelled by Laura.

 

 

·        Payment will be for a total of 45 weeks, which will be split over 12 months. If we must cancel for any other reason, classes will run via zoom were possible or members will be offered the option to come to another session.

·        Monthly payments will vary depending on what classes your child does each week.

·        Direct debits/standing orders must be set up to come out on the 1st of each month.

·        If a child decides to leave part way through a month, this month will not be refunded. 4 weeks’ notice must be given prior to leaving to allow us enough time to fill the space. This means that if you inform us at the end of a month that your child wants to leave then the following month must still be paid for.

·        Cancellation of class payment is the responsibility of the parent/guardian, and no monies will be refunded if direct debit/standing order is not cancelled.

 

General rules

·        Appropriate clothing must be worn, this depends on the class you are participating in (ie, leotard/ crop top and shorts for contemporary and gymnastics) This is for the health and safety of all dancers/gymnasts

·        No jewellery

·        Gymnasts- Hair must be tided up in a tidy bun. This is for the safety of our gymnasts.

·        If members have acrylic nails, they must be at an appropriate length (short).

·        Any form of bullying will NOT be tolerated! Any dancer/gymnast caught bullying will not be allowed to participate in any classes undertaken with LJ Dance (Dance or Gymnastics).

·        All Dancers/gymnasts must be courteous at all times and support and respect each other as well as the coaches. If any dancer/gymnast behaves inappropriately or disrespectfully, they will not be allowed to join in with the session, in an extreme case a parent will be contacted and asked to collect them from the class. Dancers/gymnasts will receive 1 warning, after this, if poor behaviour continues they will unfortunately be asked leave.

·        Dancers/gymnasts must listen to coaches and follow instructions.

·        No running unless instructed to do so by a coach.

·        Use appropriate language at all times!

·        Class payment must be paid on time, failure to do this will result in your child being unable to participate in class until payment is up to date.

·        Dancers/gymnasts, parents and coaches must treat the dance/gymnastic space and equipment with care and consideration. 

·        Any valuables brought into class by the dancers/gymnasts are done so at their own risk, LJ Dance will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to items.

·        No food is to be consumed by the dancers/gymnasts whilst participating in the session.

·        No chewing gum!

·        No child is to leave the premises without a parent or guardian. If a child is walking home, a message must be sent to a coach to inform them of this.

·        Every child must wait inside the hall for a parent/guardian to collect them. NOT outside.

·        If any parent/guardian feels they may be late collecting their child, they must ring a coach at the earliest opportunity.

Competitions/events

Gymnasts/dancers may be invited to participate in competitions/events. This is not compulsory but if committing to an event/competition, dances/gymnasts must be able to also commit to all session leading up to the event/competition. Failure to do this may result in them being pull from the event/competition and not being invited to attend others in the future.

If participating in an event or competition, costumes/ uniform is usually required.

Anyone failing to abide by these rules will not be allowed to participate in classes. Thank you!
