MAKE•A•MA•JIG strives to be fair and equitable in the event of an absence or missed lesson.
We wish to do what is best for our students' learning and musical progress, our customers schedules and daily lives as well as our business and employees.
When a student cannot attend a lesson we will do one of the following:
Record and send a personalised video lesson in place of our face-to-face instructionfor the student to access throughout the week.
Deliver our lesson via zoom link.
We believe this model is optimal for many reasons:
Students do not miss quality instruction and lesson content.
We utilise your time slot to cater for your child's learning needs.
We maintain an equitable position to our employees.
In the event of an absence we require the following notice:
1 hr notice for a once off absence, e.g. illness, emergency, leading to a recorded video lesson or live zoom link.
1 week for a prolonged absence (2 or more consecutive weeks) e.g. vacation. Leading to a recorded video lesson, live zoom link or reschedule before departure or upon return (subject to availability).
