Terms and Conditions
Payment
Payment is generally for a full term’s classes. If for any reason your student is unable to attend a full term’s classes, an alternative payment can be arranged in consultation with the School.
Payment must be made by date of invoice
Term payments are non-refundable, unless you have a good reason, please talk to the school and we will review your request
Adult passes are refundable, only for classes which have not been used, and must ask for a refund before expiry date
Each class must have a minimum of 3 students booked in order to proceed. In the event that a class is cancelled, paid fees will be returned, or can be used for an alternative class.
Our "free trial" is a once-only offer. Once a student has attended a class as a free trial, further classes must be paid for. Further single classes will be charged for at the casual rate.
Voucher payments
When paying with an active kids or creative kids voucher, you must send the school your voucher information, before making payment with the voucher code.
if you use voucher code, and your voucher bounces, you will be charged the $50 and you will need to pay with in 15 days.
If you use the voucher code and do not provide us with your voucher information with in 15 days you will be charged the $50 which you will need to pay. (unless spoke to us otherwise)
Missed Classes
If a student misses a class, a suitable catch-up class can be arranged in consultation with the School.
Alternative Class
Some classes require students to have a certain level of skill. If it becomes clear that a student does not possess adequate skills to benefit from the class, Pia’s Dance and Acro School retain the right to remove that student from the class. Where a suitable alternative class exists that better suits a student’s skill level, the School has the right to move the student to that class.
Indemnification
Pia’s Dance and Acro School, takes no responsibility for loss or damage (including but not limited to for any personal injury, property damage/loss or wrongful death), costs (including the costs of any settlement and legal costs and expense on a solicitor and own client basis) or expenses arising out of or in connection with a wilful default or unlawful or negligent act or omission by the Student or their Parent, Guardian or Carer.
Photography and video
A Parent’s, Guardian’s or Carer’s recording of images of School classes or performances is restricted to still photographs of only the student named on the signup/contact form. On that form, the Parent, Guardian or Carer undertakes not to capture still or moving images of any other students in the class.
A Parent, Guardian or Carer gives the School permission to capture still or moving images of themselves or the named student performing dance, acrobatics or fitness exercises, for teaching purposes. This is so the students can achieve their goals. The School guarantees that such images will not be used for any other purpose without the Parent’s, Guardian’s or Carer’s written permission.
Optional
On the signup/contact form, the Parent, Guardian or Carer can choose to grant the School permission to capture still or moving images of themselves or the named student performing dance, acrobatics or fitness exercises, for the School’s use in print, website and social media promotion.
