IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Attendance
As stated in the Exam and Concert Policy, students must attend at least 80% of classes in order to participate in Exams and Concerts.
Please refer to the important dates in the enrollment folder and on our website. If any dates conflict with holidays, family, or school commitments, you will need to decide whether to attend the event or participate in the Exam or Concert.
In the event of an absence, students must notify the teacher in advance. Absences can be reported via phone, email ([email protected]), or using the absence form available online or at the studio.
Communication
We utilize Class Manager and email to keep students and families informed about news and events at Ringwood Ballet Group. New families will receive an email invitation to access the Class Manager system. Please ensure we have your most current email address to stay updated.
Invoices
Invoices will be sent by default via email. If you would prefer an alternative method, please contact the treasurer directly at [email protected].
Admin/Maintenance Fee
As a community-based organization, the Ringwood Ballet Group relies on the support of its members to help run the school effectively.
An admin/maintenance fee is charged per family each term to cover administrative and operational costs associated with running the school.
Families who contribute four or more hours of assistance to the Ringwood Ballet Group during the year will receive a fixed reimbursement in the following term.
Fundraising
Fundraising is vital to supporting the operation of our facilities. We typically host one fundraiser each in Terms 1, 2, and 3. Information about upcoming fundraising events will be communicated to all families, and we encourage everyone to participate when possible.
Safety
The car park can become quite busy during class changeovers, particularly in the winter months. Due to the public nature of the surrounding area, it is important for parents to collect their children promptly from within the school premises.
Accident Insurance
While our teachers adhere to strict 'safe dance practice' guidelines to minimize the risk of injury, accidents, though rare, can still occur. We carry Public Liability Insurance as required, but we do not provide personal accident insurance for students. Parents are responsible for securing additional insurance if they feel it is necessary.
Financial Agreement
By continuing with enrolment, you agree to the Terms and Policies outlined and acknowledge the Ringwood Ballet Group’s policy regarding personal accident insurance.
