POLICIES & PROCEDURES

To ensure the smooth running of the academy and the safety of all students, please read the following guidelines carefully.

Attendance & Punctuality

* Arrival: Students must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their class start time to change and warm up safely.

* Absences: Please inform the school via text, WhatsApp, messenger or email if your child will be absent. Consistency is key to progression!

* Pick-up: Please ensure students are collected promptly at the end of their session.

Uniform Requirements

Proper uniform allows teachers to see the dancer's line and technique while preventing injury.

* Hair: Must be neatly tied back off the face for all classes. A classic bun is required for Ballet.

* Jewellery: For safety reasons, no jewellery (including watches and dangling earrings) is permitted in class.

* Clothing: Black leotard and leggings/tights for all classes. Rogue Dance Academy t-shirts are available for purchase.

* Footwear: Correct dance shoes (Ballet/Tap shoes) must be worn. Bare feet or foot thongs are permitted for Acro/Contemporary.

Fee Payments

* Deadlines: Fees must be paid in full by Week 1 of the month.

* Methods: We accept Bank Transfer, Cash, or Card.

* Late Fees: A late fee may be applied for payments not received by the deadline.

* Non-Payment Policy: Fees must be paid to ensure your child’s place in the class. Unfortunately, if fees are not received by the deadline, we will not be able to allow the student to participate in classes until the account is brought up to date.

* Refunds: Fees are non-refundable for missed classes due to illness or holidays.

Code of Conduct (Students & Parents)

* Respect: We operate a zero-tolerance policy on bullying. All students, parents, and staff must be treated with respect and kindness.

* Focus: Students are expected to listen to teachers and participate fully.

* Mobile Phones: Phones must be kept in bags on silent mode during class.

* Waiting Area: Parents of children over 5 are asked to wait outside the studio to minimise distractions, unless invited in for a "watching week."
