1. Fees are to be paid at the start of each month and/or by the 20th day of the month to confirm dancer’s place in class. Unit 14 requires a months notice for changes to pupils class requirements or cancellation.
  2. All classes which are on offer to your child must be paid for: 
  3. Unit 14 offers a grace period, which is 5 days. Therefore, any invoices not paid by the 25th day of each month will incur a £5 late fee. Any invoices not cleared by the 29th of each month will incur a further £5 late fee.
  4. Any classes missed due to illness, holidays or other absence are non refundable and under no circumstances are they transferable. In instances where Unit 14 have to cancel a lesson, the class will be rescheduled or refunded if this is not feasible for Unit 14 staff.
  5. In instances of non attendance or changing your mind once booking a trail, the fee paid will be non refundable and non transferable. 
  6. Students must wear the regulation uniform or appropriate clothing to every class. For street dance, sportswear and trainers are required. No dresses, skirts, sandals or dolly shoes. For Acro, appropriate clothing, bare foot is required, no loose fitting clothes. All hair must be tied back from the face. New students are not required to wear uniform until after they have enrolled.
  1. Parents are not permitted to be in the hall when classes are taking place.  From experience, children progress quicker and are less distracted when other adults are not in the lesson.
  2. We reserve the right to change fees, term dates and class times.  However, we aim to keep changes to a minimum and will give parents as much notice as possible.
  3. We do not accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen.  We will place any items found, in lost property.
  4. Pupils must be seen into and collected from the hall by their parent and/or guardian for their own safety. In instances where children are being dropped off / collected by another unknown adult, Unit 14 staff must be notified before the class begins.
  5. By its very nature some contact between the teacher and student will be necessary during Unit 14 dance academy classes.  The teacher will use physical contact when helping to assist in movements or spot your child for their own safety.
