Terms and Conditions

FEES

• All classes are payable per month in advance.
• Invoices unpaid by the due date will result in your child unable to attend classes until paid.
• As our costs are fixed, fees remain payable in cases of absence. There are no reductions for sickness or holidays
• A 48hr cancellation notice must be given for private coaching, otherwise fees will remain payable.
• A month’s written notice and 4 week’s fees are required if you wish to withdraw your child from classes at AC Ballet Academy.
• Fees are non-refundable

• There will be a late fee of £5.00 for the first week of overdue fees. This will be applied to invoices that are 2 days late. This late fee will then increase in increments of £5.00 extra per additional late week.
  

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

• Students should arrive promptly. They need to be ready, coats off, ballet shoes on, correctly dressed for their dance class and attend classes regularly. Uniform must be worn a month after enrolling.
• During class, students are expected to listen and we discourage unnecessary talking. If a child is causing disruption, they will be asked to leave the lesson.
• We do not tolerate bullying of any kind and students found to be causing distress or upset to another will be dealt with and possibly asked to leave the school.
• Mobile phones are not to be used during classes and must be stored away on silent mode.

HEALTH & SAFETY

• Physical contact maybe necessary when helping to demonstrate or correct. Please see our child protection and safeguarding policy.
• Students will only be entered into examinations once the required standard is attained and at the discretion of their teacher.
• Please inform your instructor of any injuries before class commences.
• It is vital to drink fluids at regular intervals during physical exercise, please always pack water for your child regardless of class duration.
• AC Ballet Academy does not accept the responsibility for items lost or stolen although anything we do find will be placed in lost property

PARENTS

• At AC Ballet Academy, we aim to foster and instil independence. For younger students, please where possible bring them underdressed (ie leotard under outer clothes) so they may enter and leave the studios independently. Please wait outside studios until you are called by the teacher. Do not escort your child in class.
• Parents are asked to please not enter the studios at any time.
• Class observations are the last week of term

If you have signed your enrolment form to say you give permission for AC Ballet Academy to take photos or videos of your child for promotion, please continue reading. You give permission to AC Ballet Academy to use video footage and / or photographs of my child. This usage may include (but is not exclusive to) displaying publicly, distributing, or publishing, photographs, and/or video of my child for use in materials that include, but may not be limited to:

• printed materials (eg – brochures and newsletters)
• online and offline advertising and promotion
• videos and digital images such for use on Social Media.

By signing your enrolment form, you acknowledge that you are giving unrestricted permission for your child’s image to be used in print, video, and digital media.

You agree that these images may be used by AC Ballet Academy for a variety of purposes and that these images may be used without further notification. You do understand that any identifying information including surname and location will not be used in conjunction with any video or digital images.
