ASH Stage Productions Terms and Conditions


Declaration by Parent/Legal Guardian


By enrolling your child at ASH Stage Productions, you agree to the following:


1. Participation and Medical Consent: I grant permission for my child to participate in all activities organised by ASH Stage Productions. In case of an emergency, I consent to my child being taken to a hospital and receiving any necessary medical treatment.


2. Media Release: I permit ASH Stage Productions to use photographs and videos of my child taken during activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to newspapers, leaflets, the website, and social media. I acknowledge that these photographs and videos are the property of ASH Stage Productions.


3. Commitment and Attendance: I understand the importance of my child’s full commitment and attendance to all classes, rehearsals, and performances. I will notify the school in advance of any absences.


4. Health and Safety: While ASH Stage Productions endeavours to maintain high health and safety standards, I acknowledge that there is a risk of personal injury due to the nature of the activities. ASH Stage Productions is not responsible for any injury or loss/damage of personal belongings incurred during or outside of classes.


5. Confidentiality: All personal information provided will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without my consent.


Terms and Conditions


Fees


1. Fees must be paid on the 1st of every month, for 12 months of the year, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the company directors.

2. All fees are non-refundable once paid. Late or unpaid fees may incur additional late/administration charges.

3. If fees are not paid on time, attendance to classes will be suspended until payment is received, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon.

4. ASH Stage Productions reserves the right to change fees and will notify you of any changes.

5. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.


Discontinuation and Refunds


1. If a student wishes to discontinue any class or leave the company, no refunds will be issued for unused classes or attended classes.

2. A minimum of one month's written notice is required if your child no longer wishes to attend.


Copyright


1. Students must not use any choreography or blocking taught at ASH Stage Productions for external events without written permission from the company directors.

2. Please inform a company director if your child attends classes at another dance/stage school or youth theatre company.


Uniform


1. The correct uniform must be worn at all classes and rehearsals. Hair must be tied up neatly and off the face.

2. Students may be refused entry if the correct uniform and footwear are not worn.

3. The mandatory ASH uniform consists of:

   - Company logo ASH top

   - Plain black, non-branded suitable trouser bottoms such as leggings, shorts/cycling shorts, or jogging bottoms.

   - Black jazz shoes or pumps.

4. ASH hoodies and dance bags are optional. Alternative jumpers/hoodies are not permitted in class. Tops must display the ASH company logo.

5. Students represent ASH at all times when in uniform and must behave professionally.


Behaviour Policy


1. ASH Stage Productions promotes a professional environment that welcomes all abilities, focusing on fun and skill development in a disciplined setting.

2. Bullying of any form will not be tolerated. If bullying is not rectified, the student will be asked to leave without a refund.

3. Students, parents, and teachers must treat each other with respect at all times.

4. No chewing gum is allowed in classes.

5. Appropriate and sensible behaviour on social media is expected to uphold ASH’s reputation.

6. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Teachers have the right to ask students to leave the class or sit out if their behaviour is inappropriate. ASH Stage Productions reserves the right to remove students from classes for unacceptable behaviour without refund or notice.


Attendance


1. Regular attendance is crucial for skill development and participation in show preparations.

2. Poor attendance and continued lateness may result in removal from classes or shows without refund.

3. Students missing rehearsals without prior notification may lose their place or role in events.

4. Acceptance of a role in any production is a commitment to stay until the final performance.

5. No refunds will be issued for fees, costumes, or tickets if a student changes their mind about performing.

6. In the event of class cancellations, fees will not be refunded, but an extra class will be offered as a makeup session.


General and Safety


1. ASH Stage Productions is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left on the premises.

2. Prompt arrival and collection of your child are required. Written details of changes in drop-off/pick-up arrangements must be provided.

3. Teachers are responsible for students only during their class times.

4. The company reserves the right to change timetables and staff as necessary.

5. The decisions of the company directors and principals are final.



Complaints


1. Complaints must be submitted in writing to the company directors.

2. Verbal or physical abuse or confrontation from students, parents, or guardians will not be tolerated.


Medical Issues


1. Parents or guardians are responsible for updating any medical changes.

2. Inform the teacher of any injuries before class or ASH events/shows.

3. Medication must be clearly marked with the child’s name and parental contact details and handed to the teacher before class or events.

4. In emergencies, every effort will be made to contact parents/guardians for consent for medical treatment. If contact cannot be made, the responsible teacher/chaperone will sign the necessary medical permissions.


Amendments


ASH Stage Productions reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time. Serious breaches of the school’s terms and conditions or serious misconduct will result in the student being asked to leave without notice or refund.
