Free Trial Class
Assoluta Dance welcomes all new pupils to the school by offering a free trial class.
Please use the enrolment form provided on our website:

Complete one form per child you are applying for.
Complete in full your contact details, and your child’s details.
Kindly list each individual class that you wish your child to attend.
* Please note that a student / parent cannot act on behalf of another student / parent.
* Please note that trial classes can be scheduled anytime during the term where space allows, apart from watching week.
Enrolment
With the details given on the completed enrolment form an account will be created for you on our system / website.
We will issue an invoice for the running term and create a subscription upon receiving your advice of continuation after your free trial class.
If you start part way through a term the payment will be due only for the remaining weeks of the term after your trial class. It will be calculated for you and will be due in full before you attend the next class.
* Please note that enrolments can only be processed if you provide your billing address.
* Please note that as a new customer you have 7 days to withdraw from your advice of continuation. If your term fee has been paid within those 7 days, we will refund the class’ fee only (based on your original payment method).
Your Membership and Account with Assoluta Dance
Whether you book your classes via email to [email protected] or directly through a ‘Book Now’ button, with the first manual payment you will set up an account on our system / website, a membership, and a direct debit.
To access your account, please go to class manager and log into your account with the email address that you are registered with. That may not be the billing email address.
If you do not know your password, please use your email address to request a reset link.
Class Placements
We are not always able to guarantee a space in your preferred / a particular class as some classes are busier than others and have a waiting list.
* Please note that class placements follow a first come, first serve policy.
* Please note that our customers that have an active membership / renewal with us have priority in the class placement process. (This also applies during / after Coronavirus crisis and lockdown (20th March - 18th July 2020).
Moving Up a Level in the Upcoming Term
If your child is due to move up a grade, we will inform you via email ONLY around half term of the running term.
If needed we will give you an overview of the grade’s available time slots and ask you to reply with your preferred class and an alternative one.
We are not always able to guarantee a space for your child in your preferred class.

Vocational Dance Classes
Some of our classes are technical enhancement non syllabus classes and should be taken alongside our graded classes.
Cancellation Notice
Cancelling your membership with us requires a 6 weeks cancellation notice during term time. That means you will need to give notice at half term.
If you are attending more than just one class, cancelling 1 or more classes on your membership also requires 6 weeks cancellation notice during term time / at half term.
Cancellations will only be processed if they have been given during half term of the running term and via email to [email protected]
Cancellations will result in your details being removed from our system / website, and your email address being taken off our general mailing list.
Cancellations received after half term of the running term can be processed, but Assoluta Dance reserves the right to charge a £35 late cancellation fee.
* Please note that cancellations for the running term can be processed, but Assoluta Dance reserves the right to retain the fee for the remainder of term.
* Please note that a timely cancellation is necessary to forward plan the timetable and give our teachers and studios plenty of notice that may affect their teaching.
* Please note that a student / parent cannot act on behalf of another student / parent.

Fees
Payment Methods
All payments need to be made through the payment link provided on your Assoluta Dance invoice/s.
Your term fee will turn into an automatic renewal / direct debit after the first manual payment as stated during the checkout process.
* Please note that Assoluta Dance reserves the right to cancel any customers renewal due to outstanding payments.
* Please note that Assoluta Dance does not accept payments via cheque, bank transfer or cash payments.
* Assoluta Dance reserves the right to make changes to the payment methods at any point.
Term Fees
Term fees are to be paid in advance per term to secure your place as some classes have waiting lists.
Term fees can only be paid through the payment link on your term fee invoice and will renew automatically the following term via direct debit.
You will be notified about the following term’s fees and your personal timetable prior to the renewal date of your membership. Kindly contact Miss Summer via email to [email protected] if your invoice needs to be amended.
Term fees are not refundable, cannot be carried forward, and are not transferable from one child to another whether in the same family or not.
* Please note that our term fees are subject to change at the beginning of the calendar year.
New Enrolments
Term fees can only be paid through the payment link provided on your first Assoluta Dance invoice.
By entering your debit/credit card details you set up a membership and with that an automatic renewal of your term fee via direct debit as stated during our checkout process.

Discounts
If you have two or more children enrolled at Assoluta Dance you will receive a 10% discount on the youngest child’s term / workshop / summer school fees.
If you have twins at the school you will receive a 10% discount on your full fees.
If you attend two classes a week you will receive a 10% discount on your full fees.
If you attend three or more classes a week you will receive a 20% discount on your full fees.
Workshop Fees
Workshop fees are to be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
Payments can only be made through the payment link provided on your invoice.
Discounts are available if you are eligible (10% twin discount, 10% sibling discount on younger child's fee).
Missed Classes
We regret to inform you that classes missed for whatever reason will not be refundable under any circumstances. However, make up classes are available.
Students will be able to make up any missed classes during the running term.
This depends on available space in a similar class. Pupils cannot do a makeup class in a full class.

Cancelled Classes
In case of individual sessions being cancelled, Assoluta Dance will issue a credit note for the required fee if the session cannot be made up elsewhere.
Where this occurs we will endeavour to notify pupils either by email, text message or phone call.
*Please note that we will not refund / credit classes being cancelled to circumstances beyond our control. See our 'Liability Disclaimer'.
Timetable
Assoluta Dance reserves the right to alter the timetable at any given time and without notice.

RAD Ballet Exams / ISTD Tap & Modern Exams
Exam fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
Payments can only be made through the payment link provided on your invoice.
If you miss the payment before the due date your child will not be able to take part in the exam.
Any pupil who cannot take the exam due to illness will require a doctor’s letter in order to obtain a refund of 50% of the RAD's exam fee only.
Liability Disclaimer
All teachers are fully qualified, DBS checked and insured.
However, due to the nature of teaching dance sometimes it is necessary to correct dance positions physically to coincide with verbal instruction. This is always conducted with the utmost care and professionalism and only with the student’s permission. We will refrain from physical contact while social distancing rules are still in place during the COVID-19 crisis 2020.
Neither Assoluta Dance nor our halls/studios will be liable for the loss or damage of any property belonging to the pupils and/or parents/carers.
Neither Assoluta Dance nor our halls/studios will be liable for any loss or expense due to circumstances beyond our/their control. Those circumstances include amongst others: transport, fire, weather, epidemic, and pandemic (i.e. COVID-19 and others), lockdown, any technical issues.
Neither Assoluta Dance nor our halls/studios will be liable for a child going missing before or after class. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that Assoluta Dance is informed well in advance of the class if children are allowed to go home on their own or if they are being collected by someone other than the parents.
* Please note that Assoluta Dance is an approachable business. We will i.e. help to find a lost property and will endeavour to find individual solutions in a case of an emergency. Maintaining a positive relationship with our customers is important to us. However, as a small business we also have a responsibility towards our business partners (i.e. studios) and our employees. We will not and cannot abandon that responsibility. Even in difficult and/or unprecedented times we will always try to provide our dance classes. If you as a customer then choose not to partake, our liability disclaimer will become effective.
Student / Parent Responsibilities
Please read our terms and conditions carefully.
* Please note that Assoluta Dance has a zero tolerance for bullies. Our aim is to provide a happy, respectful, and fair environment whether in the office or in our dance classes. Our aim is to treat all our customers equally and with the highest respect. We are a kind and approachable business that always endeavours to be accommodating in our range of possibilities. We expect the same respect from all our customers in return. If that respect is not shown, Assoluta Dance reserves the right to exclude those customers from our services (see also Code of Conduct).
If you have signed up for classes at Assoluta Dance but have not received any notifications from us, please contact the office via email to [email protected]
Kindly make sure all contact details (i.e. postal/billing address, emergency phone numbers, emails address/es) are up to date and provide several contact numbers in the unlikely case of an emergency.
Parents and guardians of children under the age of five are requested to be nearby the venue during class.
* Please note that while social distancing rules are in place during COVID-19 crisis 2020, you parents will not be permitted in the buildings. All parents / carers must be reachable whilst their child is taking a class.
Parents need to look after their children between classes as well as accompany them between venues if they attend more than one genre.
Please notify the office by email to [email protected] as well as the teacher at the start of the class if someone else will be collecting your child.
Kindly inform us about any medical conditions (i.e. any learning difficulties, nut allergy sufferer, epileptic, asthma, diabetic, etc. and/ or any other conditions) that may need special attention.
If a student is required to take medication whilst participating in AD dance activities, parents/carers should take full responsibility and ensure teaching staff are properly informed.
Please make the teacher aware of unusual circumstances that may affect the student’s wellbeing (i.e. injury, death of a family member or any other situation without meaning to be intrusive).
Kindly make sure students attend class with the uniform specified and not variations or deviations or like for like models.
All items are to be named.
Items of uniform to be clean, good condition and of the correct size especially footwear. Items of footwear are not permitted to be worn outside of the dance studio and alternative footwear should be worn to and from class.
Hair is to be of an appropriate style for the class to be taken. Hair should be brushed secured off the face and neck, out of the eyes thus not causing distraction to the dancer.
Please ensure the student has been to the toilet (needed or not) to avoid accidents and disruption of the class for the other dancers in attendance. Whilst social distancing rules are in place during COVID-19 crisis 2020, we cannot not provide toilet breaks during class time.
Kindly ensure that all children are collected on time at the end of their class/es by a parent or carer.
If you are going to be late the child will remain in the studio with the teacher until you arrive.
Children will need to be dropped off and collected at the allocated time of their class/es.
In case of a drop-off and/or pick-up emergency, please call 07946342690.
Kindly inform the office via email to [email protected] if relatives are visiting and wish to watch the lesson (15 minutes). Whilst social distancing rules are in place during COVID-19 crisis 2020, there are no visitors allowed in our classes.
Students
Children develop at differing rates and therefore teachers will inform parents when it is time for their child to move up to the next class.
For some children, taking exams is not beneficial and parents will again be informed by the teacher when and if their child is being considered for entry.
* Please note that the age groups displayed on our timetable are a guideline provided by the RAD.
Trainee RAD Teachers
Occasionally trainee teachers from RAD Faculty of Education Programmes assist and/or observe classes.
Data Protection Regulations
Assoluta Dance will not disclose your information to third parties except where the law allows or requires, or where you have given your permission to do so.
Our clients details are being stored with google drive, class manager, mailchimp.com and assoluta dance, and portal/assoluta-dance
mailchimp.com: Full name of customer/pupil, email address,
assolutadance.com and porta/assoluta-dance: Full name of customer/student, contact details, DOB, medical notes,
square up: encrypted card details, contact details.
If you no longer wish to continue to be a customer at Assoluta Dance and hand in your half terms notice, we will delete your details from our system.

Medical
The teachers will administer any immediate and/or necessary first aid treatment.
Photography and Film for Publicity
Photography and/or film may be made during class/performance by teachers/members of staff only.
Photographs and/or film for publicity are to be found on instagram and facebook, assolutadance.co.uk , posters and/or flyers only.
No names will be used in conjunction with the pictures / films taken and used.
Photography and Film on Parents Day
Due to child protection photography and/or film is not allowed to be made during class by parents or the teacher/assistant on Parents Day.
Our teachers/assistants will schedule in 5 minutes at the end of class for parents to take a photo of their child(ren) with the teacher and/or assistant only.
Child Protection
Summer Campbell is the Designated Safety Officer.
Assoluta Dance Dance has a zero tolerance on all bullying / abusive behaviour including social media and trolling.
As soon as we are (made) aware of an incident we will do everything in our power to protect our pupils and other children involved.
