Terms and Conditions

AVA DANCE CENTRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2024

FEES

  • Fees are invoiced by the term.
  • Students joining mid-term are charged on a pro-rata basis.
  • All invoices must be paid in full by the due date unless a fortnightly direct debit has been set up.
  • Direct Debit must be requested in writing, prior to the term commencing or upon enrolment for new customers.
  • Failure to pay fees by the due date (or agreed terms in payment plan) will incur a $15 administration fee per invoice.
  • Where an invoice is 14 days overdue, Ava Dance Centre reserves the right to refuse participation for students until fees have been paid.


REFUNDS & MISSED CLASSES

  • Refunds will not be provided for missed classes or withdrawal from classes.
  • If a student misses a class, they may attend an appropriate make-up class if there is availability in the class.
  • Where Ava Dance Centre cancels a class, a make-up class or credit will be offered.
  • Students may request a credit for missed classes due to any long-term injury or illness.


COMMUNICATION

  • Email is the primary form of communication at Ava Dance Centre.
  • It is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to check their emails regularly.
  • Should you not be receiving our emails, junk/spam email should be checked.
  • It is recommended you add [email protected] to your email contacts.
  • Facebook and Instagram are not accepted as valid methods of communication for any administrative purposes. These should be communicated via email.
  • Parents/guardians must update Ava Dance Centre in writing with any changes to personal information that was previously provided on their enrolment form.
  • Parents and teachers are not to pass out private contact information or seek access to each other's profiles on social media platforms.


HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Students participate in classes at Ava Dance Centre at their own risk.
  • Ava Dance Centre accepts no liability for any injury that may be incurred while participating in Ava Dance Centre activities or visiting the Ava Dance Centre premises.
  • Ava Dance Centre reserves the right to arrange medical transportation, at the student’s expense, in the event of an emergency.
  • While not participating in dance class, children remain the responsibility of parents/guardians at all times. This includes siblings.
  • Students with medical conditions must bring any required medical equipment to every class e.g. Epipens, Insulin, puffers etc.
  • If parents have any serious concerns about their children’s health at dance, then they must remain on the premises while their child is dancing.
  • Students are to be collected from the studio. Students are not permitted to wait in or walk alone in the car park or on the street.
    Students must not walk outside in dance shoes or bare feet.
