Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions (correct as of May 2024)

Children will be under the supervision of the dance teacher and student helpers only during class times.

Invoices must be paid in full within 14 days or by the due date stated on the invoice. A late fee will be added to any late payments. We do not issue refunds on term fees, competition or show fees or any other fees if pupils are no longer able to participate.

One full term’s paid notice must be given before leaving any class/classes at the dance school. This does not include term holidays. (Does not apply in the first 12 weeks of joining the school or for preschool classes). Notice must be given in writing to [email protected],uk.

Parents are responsible for ensuring membership forms are up to date. If there are any change of details a new form must be filled out.

Any pre-existing injuries must be discussed with the dance teacher before the lesson commences.

Parents are permitted to watch dance classes during watching weeks only and during the school performance each year. At no other time are parents permitted to stay and watch the class, unless previously agreed with the dance teacher. (Does not apply to preschool classes where parents must be with their child at all times and are encouraged to join in and support their child)

If classes have to be cancelled due to reasons outside of the dance schools control, for example but not limited to, flood, fire, bad weather, virus outbreak or any other pandemic or epidemic event, double bookings, venue closures, sickness then lessons will be given as a digital format for example pre-recorded, zoom, facebook live or youtube. As a last resort lessons will be rescheduled where the teacher or a suitable substitute is not able to provide a lesson. No refunds will be issued.

By enrolling your child and/or their participating in classes with Berkshire and Henley Dance you automatically accept our Terms and Conditions. These serve as a rolling contractual agreement.

FOR ADULT CLASSES

FOR ELITE TEAMS

Invoices must be paid in full before the start of term, unless stated otherwise. We do not issue refunds on term fees, competition or show fees or any other fees if pupils are no longer able to participate.

One full term's paid notice must be given before leaving the Elite team, and you are committed to staying until the competition you are working towards has completed. This does not include term holidays. Notice must be given in writing to [email protected],uk.

Requirements to be in the elite teams:

1. You must be in at least two of our Dance Classes and these must include street and hip hop. Combination classes must be taken in full.

2. Attendance of all rehearsals is compulsory (even if you are injured, unless you are sick of course or displaying any covid symptoms)

3. We will operate a 3 strikes rule. If you miss 3 lessons in one term you will not be able to compete in the next competition.
