Enrolment 

• Enrolments must be finalised before the commencement of any dance class

• Unless otherwise instructed, all active enrolments will automatically continue into each new term. There is no need to re-enroll every term. You will be invoiced accordingly each term. Should you decide not to continue into the new term, written notification must be given at the end of the current term. 

Fees

• A non-refundable fee of $30 per student is included in the initial payment. This fee covers intellectual property licenses, insurances and administration costs associated with your child's participation within the school. 

• All classes are run on a. term by term basis. All payment agreements are issued on a term by term basis. Once enrolled in the term, all classes in that term will be charged for and must be paid for within 14 days. Accounts paid after 14 days of being issued will incur a $30 late fee and students will be asked to sit out of class if payments have still not been received. 

• Students can not commence the next term until all outstanding fees have been paid for. 

• Term fees do not include payment for costume and competition fees.

• Unfortunately refunds and credits are not possible. This includes absences due to illness, family vacation, religious holidays, or if you simply decide not to continue with a particular class. No make up classes will be provided. 

Duty of Care

• If your child is being picked up by a different family member, please inform the child's teacher. 

• When enrolling in Bloom Dance Studio it is the responsibility of the parent/student to inform us of any current or prior injury or illness including allergies, medical conditions and special needs.

• Care is taken by all staff, however no responsibility is taken by Bloom Dance Studio for accidents incurred in the studio, at the concert or any other performances. Dancers take part in class at their own risk and Bloom Dance Studio is not liable for personal injuries. 

• Incase of illness or injury where parents are not contactable, Bloom Dance Studio will seek medical advice and act accordingly where treatment is deemed necessary. The cost will be incurred by the parent/guardian. 

• No responsibility is taken for our students outside of class times.

Classes

• Teachers are subject to change at the discretion of Bloom Dance Studio

• Age requirements apply to all classes. If dancers do not meet age requirements they will be moved to the appropriate classes at Bloom Dance Studio's discretion. 

• It is at Bloom's discretion to allocate dancers to classes most suited to their abilities. If dancers have enrolled and paid fees for a class that is not suited to their experience or abilities, we will transfer them to a more appropriate class. 

• Dance is a physical activity that may involve teacher and student contact for demonstration and correction. 

• Parents/Guardians are ONLY to enter the studio floor upon request or invitation from staff. 

Behaviour Policy

• At Bloom there is no toleration for negativity and disruptive behaviour. 

• Teachers reserve the right to ask a student to sit out for a portion of the class if their behaviour is against studio policy. 

• If disruptive or negative behaviour from a student is ongoing, parents will be contacted to discuss further action. 

• Physical, emotional, mental or cyber bullying by parents, students or staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the studio with no refund of fees. 

Media

• Permission is granted to use dancer's name, photographic and video images for use on the website, brochures, newsletters, newspaper advertisements, Bloom social media and any other promotional material. 

• Please make sure you inform Bloom Dance Studio if you DO NOT wish for you / your child to be photographed or filmed. 

Personal Property 

• Bloom Dance Studio does not accept liability for damage or loss of personal property brought onto the premises. 

Health and Hygiene

• By enrolling at Bloom Dance Studio you agree to follow all health and hygiene protocols put in place. This may include washing hands/sanitising on entry and checking into the studio if required. 

By enrolling at Bloom Dance Studio, you accept the risks involved with taking a sport class. Although Bloom Dance Studio aims to provide a safe environment for all students, we accept no responsibility for accidents or personal injury resulting from participation in classes, and you agree to release them from any liability. Students participate in class at their own risk. 
Bloom Dance Studio offers a supportive and inclusive environment for students to explore the art of dance and to work on their craft. This is provided through fun routines, specialised exercises, technique training and peer interaction. Bloom Dance Studio promotes a healthy lifestyle through movement, encouraging every student to work hard to reach their goals.
