BAC. Terms and conditions Student Terms and Conditions (parent to complete if child is unable to)
- Be on time for classes, rehearsals and performances. Be ready at the time set to start.
- Work the best to my ability in every class
- If I am injured I agree to come to class and watch and take notes
- Be polite, courteous and be respectful to my peers and teachers
- Attend class in appropriate and the correct uniform and understand I may be refused entry to the studio if what I am wearing in unsafe.
- Follow rules set by BAC and any other performance venues
- Represent BAC in a respectful, helpful manner, being positive in sprint and behaviour.
- Respect the studios and performance environments, keeping them neat and clean for the safety of others and myself.
- Respect and care for all costumes, props and equipment
- Honour any commitments that I make to the studio and my peers by attending rehearsals and performances
- Discuss any dance/gym related problem with my parent in a meeting with the director
- Bring a bottle of water to class, I understand that no other drinks are allowed in the studio
- Label all students uniform and shoes, with students full name
- Notify you if any of my details change (address, phone, medical etc
- Pay all fees on time, on the 1 of each month. And understand that I will be charged for late payments, and may lose my place if fees are late.
- I will ensure that I am on site on time for class and on time for collection of my child.
- I will familiarise myself with the fire and health and safety procedures.
- Gossip, write or otherwise communicate negatively about others, myself or BAC in or outside the premises. This includes any area related to Choreography, Costumes, music, teachers, performances. (this includes all aspects of social media)
- Gossip or otherwise communicate about any other school local to BAC in the studios/premises.
- Bully, or isolate other students
- Eat food within the studio,changing room etc food only to be eaten in the cafe
- Use my phone in the studio
- Leave the studio premises without a parent/guardian or parental permission
- Approach any teacher whist they are teaching, and understand that a meeting is to be arranged if I wish to speak to a member of staff
- Students are expected to attend classes regularly.
- That if I wish to attend any auditions, other performance classes or associate programmes, I must speak to the director/teachers of BAC so I can be advised and supported accordingly.
- When being invited onto our competition teams including solos and duets, am I to be fully committed to my team, attend all classes and competition rehearsals and will not attend other establishments.
- I understand that by not complying by the above I will lose my place on the team.
- That if I wish to attend any auditions or other performance classes, I must speak to the director of BAC so I can be advised and supported accordingly.
- That no photographs or video recordings are permitted of any class or student performances unless permission is given by the teacher.
- That BAC will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse, will not tolerate any forms of intimidation by a student or parent.
- That the school has specific opening times for admin and teaching
- That 1 months notice has to be given if I wish to stop classes.
- Any missed payments will be sent to BAC debt collecting company, and I will lose my place at BAC
- That at certain times during lessons my child may need to be handled and repositioned in order to learn and grow.
- In the unlikely event that any classes are cancelled, a makeup lesson will be arranged or funds from this class will be used towards shows rehearsals.
