BPDCompany Terms and Conditions

Cancellation and Notice

• Written Notice: One month's notice in writing is required to cancel classes.

• Fees for Insufficient Notice: One month's fees will be charged if notice is not given.

Uniform and Attire

• Correct Attire: Students must have the correct uniform and shoes within four weeks of enrolment.

• Hair Requirements: Hair must be styled appropriately for classes:

◦ Ballet: Hair in a bun

◦ Acro, Lyrical, Pop, and Musical Theatre: Hair plaited, in a ponytail or up off the face.

◦ Non-Compliance: Students without the correct attire or hairstyles may be not be allowed to participate

• Jewellery: Should not be worn during class.

Class Attendance and Punctuality

• Prompt Arrival: Students should arrive on time and attend classes regularly.

Illness and Injury

• Refunds for Long-Term Illness: Possible at the principal’s discretion; not applicable for minor illnesses or holidays.

Behaviour and Conduct

• Code of Conduct: Rudeness, bullying, racism, threatening, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal without a refund.

• Staff Interactions: Physical contact may be necessary for demonstrations or corrections.

Teaching Assistants

• Pre-Registered Teachers and teaching assistants: May assist or teach parts of the lessons.

Show Participation (optional)

• Show Commitment: Agreement to partake in shows and performance opportunities includes commitment to rehearsals and all performances.

Communication and Updates

• Environmentally Friendly: Communication via email and social media. Parents should stay updated through these channels.

• Concerns and Questions: Must be directed via email to avoid class interruptions.

Student Property

• Responsibility: Students are responsible for their own belongings. BPDCompany is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. 

Child Safety

• Collection by Adults: Children must be collected by a parent/carer or responsible adult unless written permission is given.

• Notification of Collectors: Inform the teacher if someone other than the usual guardian is collecting

the child.

Timetable

• Timetable Revisions: The school timetable is subject to change; parents will be notified by email with as much notice as possible.

Physical Corrections and Risk

• Risk Acknowledgment: Participation in classes or events is at the student’s own risk.

• Necessary Corrections: Physical contact may be required for proper teaching of dance.

• Dignity and Respect: Corrections are made with due care and respect. Contact the office with any concerns.

Media and Privacy

• Photographs and Videos: May be used for promotional purposes. Please Indicate preferences on your class manager profile.

Data Security:

Personal details will be kept secure and used for relevant communication and medical

safety.

GDPR Consent

• Communication Consent: Consent for BPDCompany to contact regarding dance education, fees,

and emergencies.

• Medical Data Processing: Consent for holding and processing medical condition data.

• Withdrawal of Consent: Possible by notifying the main business email address.

By registering a student with BPDCompany, you accept these terms and conditions as an ongoing agreement.
