Catalyst Allstars CIC

Terms and Conditions

Please find below our full terms and conditions. By signing up to Catalyst Allstars via Class Manager, you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed below.

a) Trial sessions are free; monthly training fees come into effect immediately when an athlete enrols in our recreational classes or joins a competitive team.

b) Monthly payments are payable every month of the year and take into account the following closures: two weeks at Christmas/New Year, two weeks at Easter and two half term weeks. For competitive athletes, fees are calculated annually and divided equally across the twelve months. For recreational athletes, fees are calculated according to the number of scheduled sessions in each month.

c) Catalyst Allstars reserves the right to increase fees in line with inflation or increased cost of rent; you will receive four weeks’ notice of this.

d) All training fees are due on the first of the month (or the next working day where the first falls on a weekend or bank holiday). We reserve the right to suspend an athlete from participating in classes until any overdue payments have been received.

e) A schedule for payment of competition fees (competitive athletes only) will be released in the Competition Pack before the beginning of each competitive season; these include but are not limited to entry fees, spectator fees, uniform. These payments will also be due on the first of the month.

f) Where possible, additional fees for training kit will be requested in the monthly invoice, with payment due on the first of the month. If the item is required imminently, a separate invoice can be issued immediately to be paid by card online or in person.

g) All payments are requested through Class Manager, and are paid via GoCardless, making all transactions safe and secure and as such we do not have access to any customer bank details. Ad hoc classes or additional training kit can be paid by card via Stripe, you may save your card details in Class Manager for easier payment.

h) On logging into Class Manager, any outstanding payment amounts will be shown on the home page, and for more details please see the invoices tab.

i) On request, payments may be accepted as cash/cheque in exceptional circumstances, and invoices paid in this way will be subject to a £3 administration fee.

a) A 10% household discount will be applied to customers who have two or more athletes training on a competitive team with Catalyst Allstars. This discount is only applicable on first competitive team training and does not include additional classes such as recreational classes, stunt groups, camps or any other optional training. This discount will be detailed on each invoice.

b) Household discount will be suspended immediately if one or more of the family members cease training with Catalyst Allstars and only one family member remains.

a) No refunds will be given for training fees.

b) No refunds will be given for competition fees (see credit note).

a) Credit notes will be issued in place of refunds for circumstances that are out of Catalyst Allstars’ control. For example, if a competition is cancelled. This credit note will be applied once Catalyst Allstars has been refunded the money from the event provider.

b) If you find yourself in possession of spectator tickets, and Catalyst Allstars can sell this on to other athletes, a credit note will be issued.

c) All credit notes are added to your account on Class Manager and will be deducted from the next available invoice, until no credit remains.

d) If an athlete leaves Catalyst Allstars, and they have no outstanding invoices to be paid, a refund will be issued.

a) The two full weeks of training leading up to competitions are ‘Red Zones’. No absences are allowed during these weeks unless authorised by the Directors at the beginning of the season. Intended red zone absences must be communicated in writing within two weeks of receiving the Competition Pack.

b) Catalyst Allstars reserves the right to exclude an athlete from a competition if they have one or more unauthorised absences during any Red Zone. It will be at the Directors’ discretion if they return to the competitive team.

c) A place on a competitive team is a privilege and not a right. If an athlete’s behaviour or attendance becomes detrimental to the performance of the team, Catalyst Allstars reserves the right to remove the athlete from that team.

d) Any athlete removed from a competitive team by Catalyst Allstars, provided they are not dismissed entirely, or any athlete, at the end of the season, no longer wishing to compete is welcome to attend our recreational class.

a) If a recreational athlete wishes to leave the squad, we must receive written notice 1 calendar month in advance of the planned exit. Catalyst Allstars will not accept continued absence as confirmation of leaving, and scheduled monthly payments will be due until 1 calendar month after written notice has been received (i.e. if a customer cancels between the 2nd and 31st of the month, fees are still payable on the 1st of the following month).

b) Competitive athletes are signed up for one season at a time, on the basis of attending all competitions detailed in the Competition Pack, plus red zones. Athletes may not leave their competitive team during the season (defined as any time between two weeks after receiving the Competition Pack, and the final scheduled competition for their team) unless we receive written notice at least 2 calendar months prior to the next competition. Athletes leaving a competitive team mid-season will cease training with their team immediately after providing written notice, and scheduled monthly payments will be due until 2 calendar months after written notice has been received (i.e. if a customer cancels between the 2nd and 31st of the months, fees are still payable on the 1st of the following 2 months). If the athlete leaves Catalyst Allstars entirely, future scheduled monthly payments will be requested in a lump sum within 24 hours of confirmation of them leaving. Alternatively, these payments may be made while the athlete trains recreationally, after which, payments will be reduced to the current recreational rate. If this option is taken and an athlete misses 1 training session and we are not notified by email, the remaining payments of the notice period will be requested in a lump sum within 24 hours of the session.

c) Absence of notice, late notice in exceptional circumstances, or dismissal of an athlete by Catalyst Allstars, in line with clause 10g, will be addressed on an individual basis. The waiving of monies owed will be at the discretion of the Directors, and their decision will be final.

d) We will issue a written confirmation by email, upon departure that all outstanding fees have been paid and that your account has been settled. We will then cancel your GoCardless mandate and deactivate your Class Manager account. Customers may not cancel their GoCardless mandate themselves before receiving this confirmation. Please ensure that you save this somewhere safe in case of future dispute.

e) In the event of an athlete leaving Catalyst Allstars with fees outstanding, including those arising from having breached term d) above with scheduled payments outstanding, Catalyst Allstars reserves the right to pursue recovery of the debt by all legal means, including court action.

a) Occasionally it is necessary to temporarily change the date, time or venue of a class. If this occurs Catalyst Allstars will notify customers using email, the Class Manager notification board, our Facebook/Instagram pages, SMS text messaging, telephone, word of mouth, or any combination of these means.

b) We reserve the right to cancel any classes at any time up to and including the time the class starts. We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible via the means outlined in a). Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled at a later date, or if this is not possible, a credit note will be issued.

c) Catalyst Allstars takes no responsibility for any inconvenience or harm arising as a result of miscommunication of cancelled classes, where you have failed to provide up to date contact information, or failed to take note of the information provided, including if that information is provided by email and does not arrive in your inbox.
