CricketNow - Terms & Conditions

Parents or legal guardians must adhere to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Compliance with these terms is required for the participation of their child in Cricket Now programs, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all participants.

Terms of Participation

Cricket Now is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of the information you provide. By enrolling/trialling your child in our programs, you agree to the following:

  1. Information Collection:
By completing the online registration form, parents or legal guardians agree to these Terms and Conditions, which may be updated by Cricket Now from time to time. Agreement to these terms is a prerequisite for any child’s participation, whether enrolled or attending a trial, in any Cricket Now programs, including but not limited to Cricket Now Beginner, Cricket Now Coaching, and Cricket Now Practice. All participants, whether enrolled or on a trial basis, must adhere to these rules and guidelines.

CricketNot Standard Operating Procedures

  1. Cooling Off Policy:
Participants are entitled to a seven-day cooling off period from the date of signing the Terms and Agreements and Privacy Policy. Once the first class commences, the cooling off period ends. Sessions are non-refundable after the cooling off period. This policy applies to the session-based classes. However, during holiday periods, any credits can be carried over to the next term, ensuring participants receive the full benefit of their enrolment. The cooling off period applies to new enrolments only and does not apply to session transfers or renewals.

  1. Rescheduling and Extended Absence Notification:

Participants are eligible for a maximum of two credits per term, regardless of the reason for absence, including holidays, overseas commitments, exams, or emergencies. For illness or injury, the 48-hour notification rule is waived if a valid doctor's certificate is provided. In cases of major injuries that require multiple weeks of rest, participants can receive up to four credits, provided a doctor’s certificate confirms the extended recovery period. This policy ensures consistency, fairness, and smooth operation for all attendees.
  2. Trial Class Policy:
Each new participant who enrols in a trial program is entitled to one complimentary trial class. This trial class is non-refundable and must be attended as scheduled. If a weather-related cancellation occurs, the trial class will be rescheduled to the next available session at the participant’s convenience.

  3. Code of Conduct:
All participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that fosters respect, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment. CricketNow will not tolerate your child’s participation in the Program on reasonable grounds at any time, if your child’s behaviour interferes with another participant’s safety or enjoyment of the Program. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from the program without a refund.

  4. Bad Weather/Unplayable Conditions:
In the event of session cancellations due to adverse weather or unplayable conditions (e.g., rain, extreme temperatures, poor field conditions), participants will automatically receive a class credit, which can be carried forward to the next or same term.

  5.  Injury related Attendance Guidelines:
For major injuries requiring extended rest, participants may receive up to four credits per term, subject to the submission of a valid doctor’s certificate confirming the recovery period. Utilizing these four credits excludes eligibility for additional rescheduling and extended absence notifications. This policy ensures consistency, fairness, and smooth operation for all participants.

  6. No Show/Late Cancellations:
Participants who do not attend a session or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the session and receive no credit. This policy encourages timely communication and helps maintain scheduling integrity.

  7. Session Bookings and Participation:
Participants may only enrol in classes scheduled by Cricket Now. All class times, venues, and session details are determined by Cricket Now and cannot be altered by participants. Participants are not permitted to manipulate, request changes to, or instruct Cricket Now to add classes or modify the schedule. Cricket Now maintains full authority over the scheduling and management of all sessions.

Session scheduling and Class Timings

  1. Program Adjustments:
Cricket Now reserves the right to make adjustments to its programs or any part thereof, including changes to dates, session times, duration, and locations as necessary. Participants will be notified in advance of any such changes to ensure smooth continuity and minimal disruption to their training schedule. Additionally, we will do our best to accommodate any requested changes from participants at the end of each term when enrolling in the next term, including adjustments to dates, times, venue, or other session details.

Liability Wavier & Release Agreement

  1. Health, Injury & Risk Disclosure

Billing, payment and Registration Policy

  1. Saved Payment Details and Authorisation

By providing Cricket Now with your card details, you authorize us to securely store this information and use it for processing payments. This authorization includes, but is not limited to, recurring billing, monthly installment plans, and invoiced payments as agreed upon during your registration or consultation. All transactions will adhere to the terms discussed and confirmed with you.

  2. Refund Policy and Credit Guidelines

All payments for Cricket Now sessions are non-refundable. Missed sessions will be converted into credits applicable to future sessions within the same term or the subsequent term. These credits will only be applicable by the conditions outlined in the Cricket Now Standard Operating Procedures mentioned above. This policy provides participants with flexibility while ensuring the integrity and consistency of our program schedule.

  3. Invoice Settlement Policy

Participation in any Cricket Now program is contingent upon full payment of the associated invoice prior to the commencement of classes. Failure to complete payment by the due date will result in the participant not being enrolled, and their reserved spot may be forfeited without further notice. Cricket Now reserves the right to allocate the place to another participant should payment not be received within the specified timeframe.

Limitations of liabilities and release

  1. Health Risk Acknowledgement - Injury and Bodily Harm

By enrolling your child in any Cricket Now program or activity, you acknowledge and agree that participation involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, or, in extremely rare cases, permanent disability or death.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release and discharge Cricket Now, its directors, officers, staff, coaches, and affiliates from any and all liability for any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or relating to any loss, damage, or injury (including serious injury or death) that may be sustained by the participant in connection with their participation in any Cricket Now program, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

You further agree to indemnify and hold Cricket Now unaccountable from any such claims brought by or on behalf of the participant or any third party.

  2. Health Risk Acknowledgement - COVID19 & Viral Illnesses

You acknowledge that participation in the Program carries an inherent risk of exposure to viral illnesses, including COVID-19. You have considered this risk in light of your child’s health and the health of others they may come into contact with. You understand that COVID-19 may have serious health consequences for some individuals and, by allowing your child to participate, you accept and assume all associated risks.

Parent Supervision and Safety Policy

  1. Supervision Responsibilities:
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after the scheduled coaching session times. Cricket Now coaches are only responsible for participants during the official session duration. Please ensure your child is not left unattended outside these times.

  2. Arrival & Departure

Participants must arrive on time for their scheduled sessions and be collected promptly at the conclusion. Timely arrival ensures a smooth start, while prompt pickup helps maintain the safety and structure of our coaching environment.
  3. Designated Viewing Area:
Parents and guardians are kindly requested to remain in the designated viewing zones during sessions. Entry into the field of play or coaching areas is strictly prohibited unless explicitly directed by a coach. This measure is in place to maintain player safety and minimize disruption to the training activities.

  4. Parent-Child Communication during Sessions
If communication with your child is necessary during a session, we ask that you do so through a coach or designated event staff. Directly approaching players during training is discouraged to maintain focus and structure.

  5. First Aid and Medical Information:
Please inform Cricket Now staff of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or relevant health information prior to the session. Basic first aid will be available on-site at all times. In the event of a serious injury or emergency, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately.

  7. No Show/Late Cancellations:
Participants who do not attend a session or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the session and receive no credit. This policy encourages timely communication and helps maintain scheduling integrity.

  8. Food, Drinks & Rubbish Policy:
All participants are expected to bring a personal, clearly labelled water bottle to every session to stay properly hydrated. If snacks are provided, parents and guardians are kindly asked to consider the potential for food allergies among other children. Please be courteous and avoid bringing food that could pose a risk to others. All rubbish must be disposed of appropriately in the bins provided to help keep our facilities clean and safe for everyone.

  9. Equipment Use and Conduct:
All Cricket Now equipment must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose under the supervision of coaching staff. Participants are expected to treat all gear with care and respect. Any misuse of equipment—such as intentional damage, theft, or using items in a way that could harm others—is strictly prohibited. Behaviour that endangers the safety of others or involves theft of property will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension or permanent expulsion from the training program. Cricket Now reserves the right to take disciplinary action as deemed appropriate to maintain a safe and respectful training environment.

  10. Adverse Weather Policy:
Cricket Now sessions will proceed in most weather conditions, including light rain, to ensure consistency and resilience in training. However, in cases of extreme weather or where conditions are deemed unsafe by the coaching staff, sessions may be modified, delayed, or cancelled at short notice. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure their child is appropriately dressed for the weather, including suitable sun protection, warm clothing, or waterproof attire, depending on the forecast.

  11. Feedback and Communication:
We welcome constructive feedback from parents and guardians. Your input helps us maintain high-quality coaching experiences. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please speak with a member of the Cricket Now team after the session, or contact us via the official communication channels provided.

  12. Personal Items & Code of Conduct:
Cricket Now and its coaching staff are not liable for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during sessions. Parents are advised to label all belongings and avoid sending valuables to the venue. Additionally, parents and guardians are expected to follow any extra instructions or guidelines communicated by staff on the day of the session.

You also acknowledge that this agreement is entered into voluntarily, and that you are not under any form of pressure, misrepresentation, or undue influence.
