Dance Space Essex collect personal and contact details for students and parents/guardians. This information is needed to manage the school and comply with health and safety and child safeguarding legislation. It will not be used or sold for any other purpose other than the running of the studio, shows, examinations, festivals, competitions and similar events.

Dance Space Essex secularly stores personal data and upon a student leaving the account will become inactive and all hard copies will be destroyed.

DATA CONSENT

HOW DANCE SPACE ESSEX USE YOUR INFORMATION

Dance Space Essex will process your contact details, (name, address, email, phone number) as well as your child’s personal information – their name, date of birth and any medical information. This information will be used for business purposes only. The data will be stored securely, no longer than necessary and solely for the completion of business activities.

By ticking the box on class manager you agree for Dance Space Essex to use your data as follows:

• To supply your contact details to third party developers for the use in the day to day running of the school such as registers, timetable, invoices, emails, event information and newsletters.
• To supply your contact details and personal information to third party organisations who organise examinations, competitions, festivals and shows/productions.

Please note in accordance with Dance Space Essex’s legal obligations we must supply data to the government departments when requested.

PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT

With your permission Dance Space Essex will take photographs and videos of students in classes, workshops and at events/ shows for the marketing and promotion of Dance Space Essex they may also be used as a learning aid for students.
