Privacy Policy

UNIFORM POLICY
All competition athletes must have the appropriate cheer shoes (eg. Nfinity, Varsity, Kaepa or any other brand). These are to be bought by the athlete in their own time.  Elite apparel, including but not limited to, t-shirts, crops, shorts, singlets, jackets and hoodies are compulsory for all training sessions along with shoes. Competition Uniforms will be purchased by each athlete most likely during term 1 to allow time for production.  Athletes will be sized individually for this uniform. All  competition athletes are required to wear their club t-shirt or jacket to and from all competitions. This can be worn over the uniform. During colder months black leggings can be worn underneath the skirts when travelling to and from the competition event. All athletes will be required to buy the competition uniform for any team/s they participate in. Competition uniforms may or may not change from year to year. All competition uniforms will be billed midway through Term 1. Athletes who require more than one competition uniform may request split payment. This must be organised within the first three weeks of the season


HEAT POLICY
Elite will contact parents via our facebook page, email and/or text should training be cancelled due to excessive heat.  If the temperature is at 37 degrees or more (according to the Bureau of Meteorology Website) at 3pm with no sign of a cool change, training will be cancelled. A make up class will be offered if possible. No refund will be offered as it is being cancelled for the safety of our athletes and weather is out of our control.


COMMUNICATION POLICY
You are only to contact Lauren via [email protected] UNLESS it is an emergency or to do with your child coming to training/being picked up/being unwell in which case you are able to phone or text. Please note if I am coaching I cannot answer my phone so a text is the best option if you need to get a message to your child during class time.  All other enquiries are to be sent to the email which is also accessible on my phone.  Parents are not to contact coaching staff directly via phone, email or social media in regards to anything Elite related. Should you need to speak with a coach please arrange a time through Lauren so this can be done at the gym. All parents are not to enter the gym area unless it is an EMERGENCY.  It is preferred that parents email any concerns. Speaking to coaches at training can delay the start of class.


HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
Elite All-Stars Cheer and Dance have set up and will maintain safe dance environments for their students.  Appropriate emergency procedures exist and staff understand the procedures relevant to their location.  Elite All-Stars staff have the responsibility and authority to ensure that health and safety objectives are achieved. They will identify and eliminate unsafe acts, procedures, conditions, equipment, and hazards of all kinds. Behaviour from students, parents or visitors that may cause an unsafe environment, will not be tolerated.  It is the responsibility of the student or parent/guardian to inform Elite All-Stars of any prior or current illnesses or injuries prior to enrolment or prior to class.  In the event of an injury, Elite All-Stars will administer First Aid treatment by a qualified first aider.  If medical services are necessary and an ambulance required, the student/parent will incur the costs.  Physical contact may be required.  Elite All-Stars MUST be notified of any allergies that a student may have and a Management plan must be provided. Athletes must have allergy or asthma medication with them at all training sessions.  Emergency evacuation maps are located around the premise. Fire extinguishers are located within the premises.  Any student who has been diagnosed by a Medical Practitioner as being at risk of anaphylaxis should bring an epipen to class and leave it at reception, labelled with their name.This epipen will be administered by a first aider if required, under the instruction of 000 staff if an emergency arises.


FOOD, DRINK, ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY
Food and/or drink is not permitted in the classrooms, with the exception of a water bottle.  Food and/or drink must only be consumed in the allocated areas.  There is to be NO eating during class. Food breaks will be given to those athletes  that do multiple classes in a row. Elite All-Stars request that nuts are not brought on the premises, however cannot ensure that the premises is 'nut free'.  The possession or consumption of illicit or non-prescribed drugs or alcohol  is not acceptable at any time. Parents, students, volunteers and/or employees must not arrive at Elite All-Stars or any event representing Elite All-Stars, impaired by the effects of illicit drugs or alcohol.


BULLYING POLICY​
The following will not be tolerated in person, via email, via text messaging or via the internet; Verbal abuse or shouting, Physical Abuse, Excluding or isolating a person, Psychological harassment, Humiliating a person through sarcasm, criticism or insults, Ignoring or belittling a person’s contribution or opinion.  Where any persons feel that they are the victim of bullying, they should discuss the matter directly with the person/people concerned and request an end to the behaviour.  Should this approach fail or be inappropriate, the victim can contact the Elite All-Stars office for assistance is resolving the matter.


PARKING POLICY
For the safety of our students, staff, and visitors, we kindly ask that all those attending Elite All-stars park in the allocated parking spots (Number 6 and signed).


COVID POLICY

All athletes, parents, coaches and any other persons must abide by COVID-19 rules as imposed by the State or Federal Government at the time. This may include but not limited to wearing of face masks, check in on QR code, social distancing, closure of business, cancellations of competitions or training. You understand that COVID restrictions are out Elite All-Stars control and that Elite All-Stars must adhere to any restrictions that are imposed on them. Elite All-Stars will always have the athletes and coaches safety as their number one priority.


RELEASE OF LIABILITY
You agree that any activities in which you and/or your athlete participate is entirely at your own risk. You agree to release and hold harmless Elite, it’s owners, operators and coaches from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may have been sustained by me and/or my athlete including property, while on Elite’s premises, or any other premises, under the control and supervision of Elite , its owners, operators and coaches or en route to or from any premises. You understand that by attending classes with Elite that you are agreeing to all policies and conditions  outlined.
