TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TAC PROGRAMS PARTICIPANTS

Enrolment and Fees: All Participants

All class fees must be paid in full when you enrol. No part payments will be accepted unless by prior special arrangement. Payment through the Class Manager portal is preferred. Please quote invoice number on all transactions. Late fees may apply.

TAC has a roll-over policy for all term-based enrolments. Please note students will be invoiced for the following term at the end of the current term. Please notify Tuggeranong Arts Centrein writing if you/your child is not continuing.

Fresh Funk students in the Performance Program are required to enrol in the same class for the entire Semester (Term 1 & 2 or Term 3 & 4) to continue working towards the end-of-semester performance outcome.   

Art Class fees cover the majority ofart supplies.

Student conduct: Fresh Funk Dance and Art Class Participants

Tuggeranong Arts Centre is a shared space, and we expect students to respect fellow artists, artwork and property.

Discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age, race sex, gender, sexuality, marital status, physical or intellectual disability, or religion will not be tolerated.

Students must always follow the Tutor’s instructions and safety guidelines.

The Tutor reserves the right to dismiss any student from the class who does not follow the rules or who possess a safety risk to themselves or others.

Enrolment and Participation: Sing with Toby Participants

A non-refundable admin fee of $30 must be paid each term on confirmation of enrolment. Some bursaries are available - applicationsshould be made in writing to the CEO.

Choir members must be aged 18 and over and officially registered and on the class roll. One trial class is permitted prior to registration, by prior communication with TAC staff.

Choir members are expected to participate fully and willingly as directed by the choir directorand in a manner that does not negatively impact other choir members.

Choir members are expected to show respect to each other, the choir director, and any other staff or volunteers associated with the choir. This includes refraining from any discriminatory or abusive language or behaviour and treating others with kindness and consideration.

Choir members are expected to prioritise safety at all times during rehearsals, performances, and other choir events, and to follow any safety guidelines or instructions provided by the choir director or other staff. TAC reserves the right to revoke participation in the choir should any member fail to adhere to these expectations.

Workplace Health and Safety: All Program Participants

Tuggeranong Arts Centre does not accept responsibility for any personal property left at the Centre.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre does not accept liability for any personal injury, unless such an injury is caused through negligence on the part of a Tuggeranong Arts Centre employee. 

If you or your child has been too unwell to attend work or school, you should not attend class.

Enrolment forms must be completed with emergency contact details. Information about existing medical conditions, allergies or a disability that may affect your participation must be included on your enrolment or registration form.

All TAC tutors and staff have current Working with Vulnerable People registrations. Due to TAC’s Child Safety and duty of care obligations, if you are an adult participant in TAC programs, you must be eligible for WWVP registration.

Marketing Material: All Program Participants

Photography or video-recordingduring class, rehearsalor performances is not permitted by participants.

TAC may photograph or record during classes,rehearsals or performances. The images are used for TAC’s promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials and website. Your consent is implied as a Condition of Enrolment. Should you not wish for us to take and use photos/images of you/your child or your artwork please notify us in writing.

Privacy: All Program Participants

Contact information you supply to Tuggeranong Arts Centre will not be disclosed outside the Arts Centre without your express consent, except where required by law. We do not retain any credit card information that you may provide.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre will from time-to-time send information to program participants for the purpose of marketing. Should you not wish to receive this, please notify usin writing and we will unsubscribe you.

Fee Discounts:Fresh Funk Dance and Art Class Participants

We offer the following discounts on fees:

Siblings: 10% discount on term fees for the second child. The early bird offer does not apply to second child. Sibling discounts do not apply to school holiday workshops, only term classes. Please phone to enrol and receive this discount.

Multiple courses: Enrol one person in two or more term courses in the same term and receive 10% discount on the second and subsequent courses of equal or lesser value. Maximum discount on any one course 10%.

Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policy: Fresh Funk Dance and Art Class Participants

Tuggeranong Arts Centre reserves the right to amend any class, tutor, or schedule. Students enrolled in an affected class will be contacted and an alternative class, credit or refund will be arranged.

All classfees are non-refundable. Class transfersand make up sessions will not be offered if you miss a class or if your personal circumstances change.

Refund requests forclass participants will only be considered if a medical certificate is provided.Application for a refund must be made in writing to the Tuggeranong Arts Centre within 2 weeks of your withdrawal. If a refund is issued, it will be provided on a pro-rata basis and based on the notification period. Partial refunds are based on the portion of classes attended minus an administration fee.

Notification period for withdrawal requests as follows:

Up to 7 days before the class commencement date, a $20 administration fee will be chargedCredit forthe remaining value (full fee paid less administration fee) may be applied to another class or student. Class credits must be used within 12 months of the initial payment date.

Within 7 days of the class commencement date,50% of the full class fee will be charged. Credit for the remaining value (half of the full class fee) may be applied to another class or student. Class credits must be used within 12 months of the initial payment date.

On the day of class, or after class commencement, no credit will be applied, except where a medical certificate is provided.
