TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Fusion Film and Stage School’s terms and conditions/policies aim to present a fair sustainable structure to all. We aim to provide the highest quality classes for all our customers.
We are committed to the safety of all persons who attend our lessons and to deliver the highest standard of service.
Participating in classes with Fusion Film and Stage School is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Fusion. Fusion Film and Stage School our employees and/or contractors will not assume responsibility for any bodily or personal injury consisting of or arising out of any participation in any physical training or athletic activity.
FEES AND PAYMENT METHODS
Fees are based on a 10 -13-week term and are payable termly/half termly in advance and no later than the second class of each new term. If your child turns up to class without the fee having been paid, and unless you have a prior written agreement with Fusion regarding fee payment, they will not be allowed to participate.
Invoices will be provided prior to the start of each term; Payment is via bank transfer. Cash may be accepted only if agreed with Becky Nuttall and must be handed to your class teacher in an envelope with your child’s name on the front.
All students must be registered for the classes they attend. Unregistered children will not be allowed to participate in the class.
PHYSICAL CONTACT
From time to time it is necessary for the teachers to use physical contact when helping to improve pupils’ posture or assist in movements. This includes physical contact between students i.e. holding hands.
FIRST AID
We always have a first aider on site in our classes who will provide basic first aid. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you authorise Fusion Film & Stage School to seek medical services in case of serious injury or illness if you cannot be contacted.
SAFEGUARDING
We always have a designated safeguard lead on site in our classes, our staff receive up to date safeguarding training.
UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE
Pupils are required to attend class wearing the correct uniform and hair style. Full details are on our class pages. For Ballet, Tap and Modern please follow the link to find order your ISTD examination uniform:

REFUNDS, HOLIDAYS AND SICKNESS POLICY
Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds to cover your booked holidays, illness, or any other reason why you may miss a class or workshop, due to the need to ensure continuity of service.
Should any pupil wish to discontinue any class or leave the school, refunds for any unused classes will not be given.
SUPERVISION AND WITHDRAWAL OF SERVICE
Fusion Film & Stage School endeavour to ensure that your children are performing in a safe and comfortable environment. We ask you to bring and collect your child promptly and provide us with emailed details of changes in drop off/pick up arrangements, special medical needs etc.
If your wish for your child to wait unattended on our premises for a class, we cannot be held responsible for them. We cannot be held responsible for pupils outside of our class. e.g., if you wish for your child to go home unsupervised, that is your responsibility.
Should a pupil, carer or associated visitor behave in a way that a member of the team feels is unreasonable or a serious breach of the school’s terms and condition or any other serious misconduct then Fusion Film & Stage School reserves the rights to withdraw the provision of classes to the client without notice.
RENEWALS
We will assume you will be continuing with our classes each term unless we are informed otherwise, by email, phone or in person.
CANCELLATION OF CLASSES POLICY
Fusion will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g., snowy conditions. However, should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, parents will be notified/contacted (please check our Facebook page and make sure your phone number is kept up to date on our register).
An additional class will be offered if we must cancel a class or refund against a future term’s fees. Regrettably, we cannot automatically offer cash refunds.
ONLINE STUDIO
In the event of, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, covid-19 pandemic restrictions, premises not available Fusions classes and workshops will be offered via our online studio. In this event refunds will not be available.
EXAMS
Fusion Film & Stage Schools examination classes will work towards ISTD and LAMDA exams. Pupils will only be entered when they have reached the required standard decided by the teacher. Pupils taking Grade exams maybe be required to attend a compulsory second weekly class in the term before the exam takes place. Parents will be notified at the appropriate time. Fusion has the right to withdraw any pupil from an examination at any stage. Fees for exams must be returned by the deadline on the invoice.
ILLNESS
Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection and to inform Fusion as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted.
Please keep your child at home if he/she:
Has a fever or has had one in the previous 24 hours.
Has had an upset stomach or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours.
Has heavy nasal discharge.
Has discharging eyes.
Has symptoms of a possible communicable diseases.

Hand, foot, and mouth disease

We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness.
COVID - 19
If yourself, your child or a family member is displaying symptoms of Covid -19, Loss of taste or smell, raised temperature or a cough you must self-isolate until you have a negative test result, please do not come to Fusion. Telford and Wrekin council are also asking that if you display any of the following symptoms that you also get tested:
• Headaches
• Aches and pains
• Feeling very tired for no good reason
• Sore throat
• Runny nose
• Sneezing
• Tummy ache in children
Fusion have a strict Covid -19 safety measures in place you will be issued with these before your first lesson. All pupils and parents MUST adhere to our Covid-19 safety measures, by ticking yes to our terms and conditions you are confirming your agreeance to them also.

PROTECTION OF PROPERTY
Fusion cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items brought or left on the premises.
HEALTH & SAFETY AND HYGIENE POLICIES
Fusion follows rigorous internal checks of the venues and its own equipment to ensure that they are clean and safe.
Please ensure that your child goes to the toilet before class and brings a bottle of water, if desired, into class.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Fusion Film & Stage School from time to time updates these T&Cs. We will inform you of changes through regular channels of communication and you have 14 days to opt out of accepting changes in writing. Fusion will treat this agreement with you as being accepted if you fail to contact us.
By enrolling my son/daughter into Fusion Film and Stage School, I confirm that I accept the above terms and conditions/policies.
