Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Our After-School Dance, Drama, and Musical Theatre Classes!

We are so excited to have you join us at GCYTA!

To ensure a smooth and secure class experience, we ask that you carefully review the following terms and conditions:

Enrolment and Payment :

• If you haven't already please complete the enrolment process to officially enrol in our classes.
• Tuition fees are to be settled upon invoice - Typically by end of week 2. 
• Eisteddfod and any costume fees will be invoiced separately and need to be paid upon invoice.

Health and Safety Measures:

• If a student is unable to attend, please notify us in advance via the provided communication channels. This is not only for safety but also for class planning. This is always essential but particularly important when we head into eisteddfod and performance season.

• Please disclose any relevant medical conditions or allergies that may impact class participation.
• Parents of primary school students are required to pick up their children from the back of the hall at the end of class unless otherwise arranged.

Emergency Contact Information:

• Please ensure that you maintain up-to-date emergency contact information with us for urgent communication.
• In case of emergencies, parents will be contacted immediately. This includes ensuring there is a parent or guardian phone number listed.

• Media Release Consent:

  Please know that class activities may be documented for educational and promotional purposes. Please inform us if you prefer not to have your child included in photographs or video.

  
  Conduct Standards:

• Participants are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour towards instructors and fellow students.
• Any disruptive behaviour may result in a discussion with parents or guardians.
• We ask that if class is in the hall and you are sitting up the back that you please respect the class by remaining quiet. We are happy for and encourage parents to have a chat but please do so outside of the teaching areas.  

Learning Environment: 

We're all about creating a positive and supportive space for learning in dance, drama, and musical theatre. Our performances may not be flawless, but they're designed to be fun and enjoyable for every student. Our goal is to help students build skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the experience.

At GCYTA, we firmly believe every student is a star, regardless of experience or innate talent. Our focus is on nurturing skills and confidence in dance, drama, and musical theatre, knowing that this growth can extend to other aspects of their lives.

We respect each student's journey, and we will never push anyone into eisteddfods or concerts. Participation in class is a must, but we understand that readiness for performance varies. We encourage open communication – if your child isn't ready, let us know, and we'll work something out.

Our classes are designed for those who genuinely want to be with us. If your child's enthusiasm changes or they feel classes aren't the right fit, please inform us. We value honesty and want every student to enjoy their classes without any unnecessary pressure.
