Terms and Conditions
Gymnastics and Dance Academy – Terms & Conditions
Effective from 2026 enrolments
By ticking the acceptance box during online registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions of Gymnastics and Dance Academy (GADA).
1. Fees & Payments
-
Monthly fees for all classes are collected by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month.
-
Fees are spread over 12 equal monthly payments, covering 44 weeks of classes per year, with holiday closures included in the annual fee structure.
-
If a student joins partway through a month, the first payment will be charged at a pro-rata amount based on the percentage of classes remaining in that month.
-
A 10% sibling discount is applied to the family’s total monthly bill where applicable.
-
If payment has not been received within 7 days of the due date, a £10 late payment fee will be added.
-
If payment remains outstanding after this point, your child’s place may be suspended until payment is received.
-
Fees are non-refundable for missed classes due to student absence, including holidays, illness, or personal commitments.
2. Notice Period & Cancellations
-
We require one full calendar month’s notice, given from the 1st day of the month, to cancel your child’s class.
-
If notice is received on the 1st day of the month, no further Direct Debit payment will be taken.
-
If notice is received after the 1st day of the month, the following month’s payment will still be collected, and cancellation will take effect after that billing period.
-
It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure cancellation requests are submitted on time.
3. Class Cancellations, Closures & Changes
-
If a class is cancelled by GADA due to coach absence, venue issues, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a replacement class, alternative coach, class credit, or another suitable alternative at our discretion.
-
GADA reserves the right to amend class times, coaches, venues, and fees where necessary. Reasonable notice will be given wherever possible.
4. Uniform Policy
-
The correct GADA uniform is compulsory for all Dance and Competitive students.
-
Uniform must be purchased and worn within one month of starting classes.
-
Students may be unable to participate until the correct uniform requirements are met.
-
Uniforms are selected for safety, comfort, durability, and professional presentation.
5. British Gymnastics Membership
-
All gymnastics students must hold an active British Gymnastics membership.
-
Membership registration and annual fees are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and must be completed directly with British Gymnastics.
-
Students without valid membership will not be insured and therefore cannot participate in gymnastics classes.
6. Health, Medical & Additional Needs
-
Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding medical conditions, allergies, injuries, and any additional support needs.
-
It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to inform GADA immediately of any changes to this information.
-
Parents/guardians must notify GADA before class of any injuries, medical concerns, or participation restrictions affecting safe involvement.
7. Drop-Off & Collection
-
Students are only supervised during their scheduled class time.
-
Parents/guardians remain responsible for children before the class starts and immediately after the class ends.
-
Parents/guardians must ensure children are collected promptly at the end of class.
8. Media Consent, Filming & Social Media
-
By selecting your preferences during registration, you consent or decline permission for photos/videos of your child to be used on social media, promotional materials, and the GADA website.
-
Consent may be withdrawn at any time in writing.
-
Parents and guardians are not permitted to film or photograph during regular classes unless permission has been given by a member of staff.
-
Filming may be allowed during designated performances, showcases, or events.
-
Any filming must focus on your own child wherever possible.
-
Images or videos containing other students must not be shared publicly without appropriate consent.
-
If requested by staff, filming must stop immediately and any content must be deleted where safeguarding requires it.
9. Parent & Student Conduct
-
Parents, guardians, and students agree to follow GADA’s Code of Conduct, behaviour expectations, and all club policies.
-
Any breach of conduct, abusive behaviour, disruption, failure to follow staff instruction, or breach of safeguarding policies may result in suspension or termination of membership.
