Inferno Cheer and Dance Rules &
Code of Conduct (ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT)
General Rules & Conditions
- ·
ALL
fees are agreeable and payable as per the period and amount determined at the
time of enrolment. Other than lump sum/full term payments, all other periods must
be paid in advance, e.g.: If a student’s fees are being paid fortnightly,
payment for 2 weeks is due on or before the Monday of the first week of the
applicable fortnight. Late fees & default fees will apply to all invoices,
where not paid by the specified due date.

ALL
fees must be paid irrespective of attendance, no exceptions. If a student is
away for any reason (including if they are unable to participate), the fees for
the missed class or classes still apply and are non-refundable. Make-up classes
will only be facilitated if there is another class available within the same
term as the class missed, and if a medical certificate is provided. Other
absences that do not relate to illness or injury will not be made up, nor
refunded. This includes competition and performance absences.

Absences must be communicated to
Inferno Cheer and Dance staff with as much notice as possible.
- ·
Written notice of class changes or
discontinued classes is required with a minimum four weeks notice. Please note
that changes or cancellations will ONLY be accepted in writing via email, and four
weeks of fees will be applicable from the week this is advised, in
additional to any accumulated weeks or balances already owing, e.g.: if
a student advises of withdrawal in writing in week 4 of term for example, cancellation
invoice will equate to the 4 weeks already accumulated, with the additional 4
weeks cancellation from the time of notice. e.g.: if a student advises of
withdrawal in writing during a holiday period for example, cancellation invoice
will equate to 4 weeks from the time of notice, irrespective of holiday
periods.

For abundant clarity, ALL of
Inferno Cheer and Dance fees are non-refundable including any competition
fees. However, should special circumstances exist (as determined by Inferno
Cheer and Dance) and adequate notice is provided in respect of such fees,
Inferno Cheer and Dance in its sole discretion may choose to issue a refund. In
the case of competition fees, ‘adequate notice’ is notice provided at least
four weeks before a competition date.

Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to cancel a student’s membership at any time and in its sole discretion.
- ·
ALL
students must wear Inferno Cheer and Dance training apparel to classes and be
well groomed (hair tied back and neat), with no jewellery and manicured nails,
with the correct footwear/shoes.
- ·
No responsibility will be taken for
lost or stolen items at the studio. Please do not bring any unnecessary
valuables into the studio/gym.
- ·
Students must be ready to enter their
classes on time. Arriving NO EARLIER OR
LATER THAN 10mins before the scheduled class. Arrival in excess of 10mins
will refer to the below.
- ·
Due care will be taken with all students;
however, Inferno Cheer and Dance takes no responsibility for students whilst
they are not in class or under direct coach supervision at competitions and
performances. If your child has breaks between classes, or at competitions, it
is the parent’s responsibility to supervise their child. Any break that exceeds
1hour requires compulsory parent supervision, unless the child is 18 years old.

Siblings of students who are not
attending classes are not to be left unattended at any time for any reason.
- ·
Students are not allowed to play or
gather outside of the Inferno Cheer and Dance studio. This is for their own
safety as this area is a designated carpark and traffic thoroughfare. Please
take care when driving in this area, and adhere to the advised drop off and
parking areas.
- ·
ALL
students are to be picked up promptly upon the completion of their class,
especially for those attending the last class of each day.
- ·
If you are enrolled as a student of
Inferno Cheer and Dance, we do not allow you to take or participate in any similar
classes at any other facility/studio/gym/club. Doing so may result in removal
the student from a particular class or the studio in general.
- ·
Competitive students, in both
cheerleading and dance are not allowed to compete with any other
facility/studio/gym/club, especially where that establishment is attending the
same competition or is a direct competitor.
- ·
ALL
students, including their family and friends must not attempt to poach athletes
or students from any other facility/studio/gym/club.
- ·
Photographs and videos will be taken
of students during classes and at competitions and performances. This material
may be used for coaching purposes, marketing, promotion and advertising.
- ·
ALL
students, especially competitive students are not to take holidays during
terms. Please ensure any trips or vacations do not clash with classes or
competitions.
- ·
Students, parents, relatives and
friends are not allowed to approach or speak with competition officials for any
reason.
- ·
ALL
students, including their family and friends will always show good
sportsmanship.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to hold additional training, particularly prior to competitions and
performances. Any additional classes or training will be advised with as much
notice as possible, and will be deemed compulsory for those applicable
students.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to add or remove classes from the timetable. This will only be done upon
the commencement of a term and through written notice.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to alter prices for both fees and apparel as necessary. This will be avoided
where possible, generally upon the commencement of a term and through written
notice.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to remove or dismiss an athlete from a class or the studio for breaches
of the rules and expected code of conduct. This also applies to parents and
guardians.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to position your child in the best interests of your child, others and
the team. This applies to class placement, team roles, stage positioning,
choreography, and all coaching, training and creative aspects of all classes,
programs and teams.
- ·
Parents and guardians are kindly asked
not to enter the gym area as this distracts the students and disrupts classes.
If a parent or guardian need to talk to the coach or director, we ask that they
kindly wait until the completion of the class to do so, or attend the studio
during office hours. This includes to make payments or purchases. As a matter
of convenience and preservation of yours and the coaches’ time, you may send
any enquiries to [email protected].

Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the
right to change, alter, add or amend the rules at any time. Notice of any
changes will be made with as much notice as possible and in writing.
Competitive Students (both Cheerleading & Dance)
- ·
ALL
competitive cheerleading students MUST
attend all scheduled competitive classes for their level and age division, as
well as one tumbling class.
- ·
ALL
competitive dance students MUST
attend all scheduled competitive classes for their level and age division, and
dance discipline.
- ·
ALL competitive students MUST attend all
scheduled choreography & camp dates.
- ·
ALL
competitive students MUST maintain
an 100% attendance record over the course of a term.
- ·
ALL
competitive students MUST NOT be
absent within two weeks of a competition or performance. No exceptions.
- ·
It is COMPULSORY for ALL
competitive students to attend ALL
competitions and performances. This may include travel, be it locally and/or
interstate. DO NOT PLAN VACATIONS OR OTHER COMMITMENTS ON COMPETITION OR EVENT
DAYS, NOR THE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO ANY COMPETITION OR EVENT.

Any and all competitions, their
location, times, etc. will be communicated with as much notice as possible in
writing.
- ·
ALL
classes must be paid for even if a competition or performance falls on a normal
class day. Every effort will be made to reschedule any conflicting classes.
- ·
ALL
additional costs associated with competitions and performances, including
uniforms, costumes, entry fees, travel and accommodation, and other related
expenses are the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Payment notices and
deadlines will be issued as required for additional costs.
- ·
Any apparelpurchased from Inferno Cheer and Dance can be exchanged
or returned within 14 days from when it was purchased and subject to such
apparel not being worn, in its original condition without any damage or
alterations and with any tags still attached. Students may request a cancellation of their
order prior to its delivery however Inferno Cheer and Dance reserves the right
to determine in its sole discretion whether such order is to be refunded.
Student Code of Conduct

Students are expected to work to the
best of their ability in all classes and be dedicated to their team and team
mates.
- ·
Students must be respectful and
courteous to all fellow students, parents and Inferno Cheer and Dance Coaching
staff. Gossiping about, or bullying, any other teams, a child or another team,
coaches, parents and staff will NOT be
tolerated under any circumstances. This includes any negative behaviour over
the internet and social media.
- ·
Students are expected to only
represent themselves and Inferno Cheer in a positive light. This is relevant in
person, as well as on social media. Student will not comment or post any
written or multimedia (photos/videos) item on the internet that may be
considered offensive, negative or inappropriate.
- ·
Inferno Cheer and Dance music,
choreography, routines, stunts, etc. are the intellectual property of the
company. Students are expected to refrain from distributing any of the
mentioned verbally, or via the internet. This includes, but is not limited to
Facebook, YouTube etc. without the direct permission of coaching staff.
- ·
Students will demonstrate good
sportsmanship in all classes, and at all competitions, performances or other
events.
- ·
It is expected that training,
especially for competitive students, takes priority over all other social
occasions and activities. Accommodations will be made where possible, and where
advanced noticed it provided in writing.
- ·
Students are expected to wear their
uniform with pride and present themselves in a manner which is a positive
representation of themselves and Inferno Cheer and Dance.
- ·
Students will always abide by all
rules and code of conduct.
- ·
Students are expected to be on time
for all classes, training, competitions and performances.
Parent Code of Conduct
- ·
Parents must be respectful and
courteous to all students, parents and Inferno Cheer and Dance Coaching staff.

Parents are expected to be facilitate
their child in being on time for all classes, training, competitions and
performances.
- ·
Parents are not to interfere with
classes, training, coaching, or any aspect that relates to the activities
conducted at Inferno Cheer and Dance.
- ·
Parents are expected to use the
appropriate channels to express any concerns, issues or opinions. If there is a
problem, please contact the Inferno Cheer and Dance director directly, do not
approach or address the problem with the third party directly (e.g.: parent,
someone else’s child, competition official, etc.).
