1. Safeguarding
All members of staff associated with InStep Academy of Performing Arts are fully DBS checked and appropriately trained to work with children.
2. Health & Safety
We endeavour to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment in which every child can learn, develop and enjoy their classes.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child until they have been handed over to a member of the teaching staff at the start of class. Likewise, children should be collected promptly at the end of their class. Reception areas and toilets are not continuously supervised.

All personal information is stored securely and treated in accordance with our GDPR and Privacy Policies.
4. Photography & Video
From time to time, photographs and videos may be taken during classes, performances or events for promotional purposes, including our website and social media channels.
If you do not wish your child to appear in any photographs or videos, it is your responsibility to notify the Principal in writing.
5. Physical Contact
Dance teachers may occasionally need to physically correct posture, alignment or technique to ensure pupils develop safely and correctly. This will always be carried out professionally and appropriately.
