Terms and Conditions
LEAVING THE SCHOOL
- A
minimum notice period of
4 weeks is required if a student wishes to leave mid-term.
Fees for this notice period will be charged accordingly.
- If
notice is given after
the first week of the calendar month, fees will be due for
both the remainder of that month
and the following month.
FEES
- Fees
are billed per
calendar month.
- Accepted
payment methods are cash,
bank transfer, card, or direct debit.
- Revolut
and PayPal are not accepted.
- Customers
will be invited to join Autopay,
which will automatically
collect your invoice payment one day after it is sent.
- Participation
in Autopay is optional,
but encouraged for convenience.
- If
fees are not paid on time,
a reminder will be sent via email. If fees remain unpaid after one week, a
late fee of £10
will be charged.
- Lessons
cancelled by the teacher will be credited to the next invoice.
- Absences
or cancellations made by the student
are non-refundable.
- Cash
payments must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly
marked with the student's
name and exact
fee amount. Envelopes should be placed in the fees box and
recorded on the payment
sheet to avoid delays or the need for change.
MAKE-UP LESSONS POLICY
- Due
to the fixed nature of the timetable, make-up lessons are not available for student
absences.
- Exceptions
may be made only
at the teacher’s discretion and subject to availability.
These are not guaranteed and should not be expected.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
- The
school operates on the academic
year schedule (September – June).
- A
school calendar with term
dates, holidays, and important events will be sent to
parents at the start of each academic year.
- Parents
can also access their child’s
timetable and calendar via the Parent Portal.
CONTACT
- All
contact with the teacher should be made via email only.
- No
social media messages are permitted.
- In
case of emergency,
you may send a text message.
LESSONS
- Lessons
are held on a weekly
basis and are billed
monthly.
- Each
student has a set
time and day for their weekly lesson.
- Consistent
attendance is essential to ensure
continuity of learning and progress.
- Students
must follow the school’s
uniform and dress code:
- Hair
must be tied in a bun
for ballet classes and either a bun or plaits for all
other classes.
- Only
water is permitted in class.
- Any
student who displays disrespectful
behavior will be asked to sit out for the remainder of the
class.
- Punctuality
is important – please arrive on time.
- Parents
are not permitted to stay in class. Please
do not enter the studio before or after class unless requested.
UNIFORM POLICY
- All
students must wear the correct uniform for their class. This includes
leotards, tights, appropriate footwear, and any other items as specified
by the teacher.
- Uniform
must be clean and well-fitted.
- Students
not in correct uniform may not be permitted to participate.
ILLNESS POLICY
- Students
should not attend class if they are unwell, particularly if showing signs
of fever, vomiting, or other contagious conditions.
- If
a child becomes ill during class, parents will be contacted and must
collect them promptly.
- No
refunds or make-up lessons will be issued for absences due to illness.
BAD WEATHER / EMERGENCY CLOSURES
- In
the event of severe weather, building issues, or emergencies, classes may
be cancelled at short notice.
- Notifications
will be sent by email or text. Where possible, cancelled classes will be
rescheduled or credited.
EXAMS & COMPETITION FEES
- Exam,
competition, and uniform order fees must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope
clearly labelled, or paid by bank
transfer.
- These
fees are non-refundable
and cannot be transferred
to cover other payments.
- If
you miss the deadline
for an exam or competition, your child will not be entered.
A £5 per
person competition admin fee will be added to your invoice
