Please let the instructor know if you are not comfortable putting your head under water and the instructor will show your bub themselves. Please make sure that full attention is given to the instructor, as all advice is essential for the safe progress of your child.

- Students are encouraged to enrol before the start of the Term. Enrolments are turned off on Day 14 of term (end of week 2) and we will not accept any more enrolments as it is a distraction to the class. Swimmers will pay the term in full, regardless of lessons missed.
- Infant swimming lessons - infants must be enrolled into the appropriate (age based) group as of their age on the first day of swimming lessons. Incorrectly enrolling into a class will mean your child will not receive the correct instruction and will hold other children - who are age appropriate - back in the class. Refunds will not be given for incorrect enrolment. You may change to a correct class if there is space, prior to the start of the term or block only.

6.0. Class Levels
- All infants are enrolled as their age on first day of lessons.
- We will accept levels from other swim schools, however reserve the right to move a student to a more appropriate class if necessary.
- All swimmers are assessed at the first lesson. Infants are typically in classes based on age, however are also assessed for suitability and will be moved to ensure swimmers are getting the most out of their classes.
- All new swimmers (Stage 1 to 5) can purchase a Sticker Chart for $10. Every time a swimmer achieves a skill (confidently and on-cue), they will receive a sticker on the allocated sticker day (mid-term and end of term). The chart is kept by the swimmer and assists families in practising those unachieved skills. If the sticker chart is misplaced or unusable, a new chart can be purchased for $10 (plus postage if required).
- All swimmers receive a certificate from Royal Life Saving at the last lesson of Term, irrespective of competency.
- If a swimmer passes mid-term, the instructor will continue onto the next level - we will not wait until the new term to progress swimmers.
- Students will progress through the levels of the program as they attain the skills and confidence. The rate of progress for each individual student will be assessed on that basis. Some swimmers achieve skills faster than others, it is important to remember that swimmers learn at different rates. Swimmers who move up may be required to change class, we cannot guarantee the same day or time for this.
