Terms and Conditions of enrolment- Leap Dance Midlands

The following terms and conditions have been put in place to ensure that each student at Leap Dance Midlands has a safe and positive learning experience. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accepting them and completing the confirmation student registration form. The student registration form must be completed prior to your child’s first class. If any information changes you must inform us by email as soon as possible.

Trial classes

Trial classes are a two week trial period, payable in advance. The place in the class will be secured once the payment is received.

Monthly fees

After the trial period fees are payable on a monthly basis in advance. Fees are non-refundable, except in extreme cases. Please inform us of absences by email by contacting: [email protected]

Payment is due by the 1st of the month. The place is not secured unless the payment is made. Late payments will incur an admin fee of £5. Places are restricted for covid safety and wellbeing reasons and spaces are carefully allocated.

Terms and conditions

All fees will be reviewed annually. A month’s notice is required if a student will not be continuing with their class. If notice is not given a month’s fees will be charged.

If the teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, and a supply teacher cannot be arranged, the lesson will be carried forwards to another date. If this is not possible, the lesson will take place via Zoom as a ‘virtual class’. If a class is cancelled due to adverse weather, or miscellaneous circumstances beyond the businesses control, a virtual class on Zoom will be offered as a replacement.

Arrival & Departure Times

To talk to the Teacher parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the Teacher by email with any important matters, instead of talking to the Teacher at drop off and collection. This is due to the important cleaning tasks that need to be completed between classes, to help keep the students, parents and staff members safe.

We do encourage communication so please do contact your child’s teacher at [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

Loss, damage or theft of items

Leap Dance Midlands will do our utmost to aid the students look after their own items but are not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of students’ personal belonging. We cannot undertake any responsibility for any money, electronic items or articles left behind after classes.

Dance Etiquette

Dance is a disciplined activity. To aid this we ask that children wear suitable clothing and have their hair put up off their faces for dance classes, preferably a bun. This is for safety reasons as well as looking neat and tidy.

Uniform should be worn by the second month of classes. Uniform has been sourced locally and a group school discount has been applied to all items. We have produced a uniform list of the essential items (leotard and shoes) as well as additional items (wrapovers, tap shoes and branded items). Like the company we are using, we do not believe that uniform should be about profits and instead pass on our discounts to you.

Finally it is expected that all students and parents/guardians are respectful to both staff and premises used. Bullying, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour/language will not be tolerated by any person or student.

Leap Dance Midlands reserves the right to amend or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice.

This will not happen during the times when covid safety guidance is in place, and only in the future, when necessary.
