General Terms & Conditions (Classes):
Payments:
•All class fees, workshops & gift cards are strictly non-refundable and cannot be
transferred or credited to the following month/term.
•Our adult flamenco classes are charged monthly (calendar month). All class fees must
be paid in full and in advance before the new month of classes begins.
•Invoices will automatically be issued through our online portal (Class Manager) every
20th of each month (for adult classes) & before the beginning of the term (for our kid’s
classes). Invoices will need to be paid in full by the due date.
A late fee will apply to any late payments.
•Any changes to your enrolment e.g., changing classes, temporarily pausing your
enrolment or cancelling your enrolment, must be notified in writing to
[email protected] before the 20th of that month (for adult classes) or by the
second last week of the term (for kids classes).
Once the invoice for the following month/term has been issued, it must be paid in full.
•All Kids flamenco classes are charged on a term basis and must be paid in full by the
invoice due date.
•Adult classes: If you miss a class, you may attend another class (a different level/class)
as a make-up lesson.
Make-up classes must be taken within the same calendar month and cannot be carried
over into the following month.
•All payment invoices and communications will be sent via email, the Class Manager
portal and sometimes through our WhatsApp group chats. Please ensure that we always
have your best email & contact number to ensure you receive all communications from
us on time.
Cancellations and Refunds:
•Class payments are strictly non-refundable.
•In the event of the teacher not being able to find a replacement teacher to fill in and
must cancel a class, the teacher will try first to re-schedule a make-up class at a suitable
time/day and if not possible, a class credit or refund will be issued.
Class attendance:
•It is essential and common courtesy that all students (both Adults & Children classes)
message or email to advise that they won’t be attending a class prior to the class start
time. This is to ensure that the teacher does not waste class time waiting for other
students to arrive if they won’t be attending.
•If you miss a class, ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ gives the option to attend another
class/level during that same month for a make-up lesson. However, strictly no refunds or
credits will be issued for any classes missed.
Costumes:
•For studio performances throughout the year and/or end of year concert, all students
will be required to purchase a new costume. Costumes will be designed and organised
by the teacher for studio performances/end of year concerts.
Please note that any additional costs such as costumes, are not included as part of the
regular class fees and will be invoiced separately.
Student Concert:
•Each year, the studio organises a whole school concert at a local theatre to allow
students the opportunity to present what they have been learning during class. All
students are welcome to participate in the show, however, please note that it is not
compulsory to perform.
•For our student concerts, each group will require a new costume each year. The
costumes have a separate fee and are then yours to keep.
•There is usually a professional photographer & videographer that attend the show to
take pictures & film the performance. Please note, if you would like a copy of the video
or photos, there will be an extra fee for this.
Safety:
•Dance instructors will always take care of all students during classes; however, we do
not accept any responsibility for any injury, property damage or lost property during
class.
•By accepting this agreement, the student agrees that they are fit to participate in the
dance classes.
•All students must always be considerate and mindful of their peers in class and always
ensure that they are acting in a safe manner to avoid any accidents. Failure to do so
could result in the student being asked to leave the class or in some cases, their
enrolment being cancelled.
•All students are to always show respect towards the teacher and students. Failure to do
so could result in being asked to leave the class or in some cases, their enrolment being
cancelled.
Choreography:
•All choreographies and material taught in class & performed at any performance
remains the property of ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ and may not be used
without permission from the director.
Photography/videography:
•All photos and videos taken during the class and/or performances will strictly only be
used by ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ for promotional purposes. By signing the
enrolment form, you give permission to the studio to use these photos/videos for studio
promotional use.
