STUDENTS REQUIRE A FRESH, SPORT CAPPED WATER BOTTLE FOR LESSONS.
INVOICES & PAYMENTS DIGITAL PAYMENTS ONLY CASH AND CHEQUES ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
Invoices are issued for the total number of weeks during a half term period, and for your first half term, should be paid weekly via bank transfer LOCOMOTION DANCE SORT CODE: 40-39-07 ACCOUNT NUMBER: 42755785 Although there is a high charge for Locomotion, invoices can be paid via a credit/debit card.
After the initial first half term of weekly payments, the invoice must be paid in full by the first day of the half term, the date of which is shown on the invoice. Failure to pay on time will result in the student being refused lessons.
Payments secure the students place in the class/camp/workshop/movie-night, and are non-refundable and non-transferrable irrespective of the students’ attendance. Cancellations are non-refundable.
Dance camp/workshop/movie-night invoices must be paid within 7 days of initial booking to secure the student’s place. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable irrespective of the students’ attendance.
Should lessons be cancelled for a reason of which the teacher or principal has no control, ie, snow preventing travel or heat preventing safe lesson delivery, or if a primary school cancels an after-school dance club session within a half term that has already commenced, or in the unlikely event due to teacher illness, 60% of the lesson cost will be credited to the student’s class manager account.

A minimal list of what your lesson fee covers. Regretfully, there are many more outgoings.
· Hall hire, insurances, music licences, examination board memberships that allow students to take exams, DBS checks & Level 3 first aid courses for chaperones, safeguarding course for student assistants, etc.
· The class assistants are paid minimum wage at between £6.40 - £10.00 per hour.
· Resources including the Harlequin dance floor, floor tape, acrobatic mats, yoga blocks, resistance bands, skill cards, hula-hoops, bean bags, scarves, wands, subject specific books, activity games etc.
· Stickers, star of the week certificates and trophies. Storage boxes.
· Gives the opportunity to keep uniform stock on site and readily available.
· Office equipment including laminating pouches, plastic wallets, paper, storage boxes, posters, display boards, Sellotape, arts & crafts equipment, pens (writing, whiteboard, chalk), pencils etc.
· Music systems, speakers, microphones, bubble machines, projectors, new cables, extension leads etc.

TERM DATES
Term dates are available in the Newsletters, on the class manager portal, and from www.LocomotionDance.co.uk.
Syllabus lessons operate for approximately 46/52 weeks of the year including during the Easter & Summer holidays, with the exclusion after-school clubs which operate in term time only.

Locomotion Dance Studios uses the software Class Manager to store data, generate registers, and invoice customers. Class Manager’s Privacy Policy is available on their website.
Emails are our main form of communication. Please mark us as a trusted sender.
UNIFORM
Details of each class grade uniform is listed on page 5. Students must attend in the correct class uniform with their hair neatly tied up on their faces, fringes out the way, with no jewellery. Please label all clothing and shoes.
Locomotion do not take any responsibility for the loss of or damage to any properties left on the premises.
STUDENT SAFETY
Students and their guardians must inform their teacher of any injuries or illness prior to their class commencing.
By registering with Locomotion Dance Studios (LDS), you authorise LDS staff including authorised chaperones to provide first aid treatment where necessary. Guardians will be notified of treatments.
LDS do not accept any responsibility for accidents / injuries which may occur whilst participating in classes.
Physical contact may be necessary when supporting the student with demonstrating the correct dance technique and permission will be sought first.
BEHAVIOUR & ETIQUETTE
Commitment, good attendance, and punctuality is expected. Continuous non-attendance or lateness will result in the student being removed from the class.
Students and their families must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone. Should any student or family continuously display negative behaviours, they will have their registration revoked. Our behaviour management policy is available on our website.
We reserve the right to exclude students who are not responding to training, misbehave or fail to follow the school rules.
Mobile phones must not be used during lessons although we understand that occasionally it may be necessary for a student keep their phone close, in which instance, the teacher must be informed.
ATTENDANCE & NOTICE TO LEAVE
Should the student be unable to attend a lesson, please notify us prior to their class to ensure an accurate register can be taken.
To withdraw from a class, a half a terms’ written notice is required, or a half term’s fees will be liable.
Locomotion Dance Studiosisaschool – there is no joining fee andyoudonot need to annuallyre-enrol.

Students cannot perform choreography learnt whilst studying at Locomotion Dance Studios in a public place without authorisation, nor can students use the choreography for any other purposes such as educational exams etc. This is a breach of copyright.
PHOTO RELEASE AUTHORISATION
I have stated on the portal (yes/no) whether the named student can be photographed & filmed for the use of advertising on social media, leaflets, website etc.
I have read, understood, and agree T&C’s above, and agree to update the portal when necessary.
