Effective Date: 1 January 2025
1. Enrolment & Payment
- By enrolling in our classes, students commit to the full duration of the course (e.g. 40 weeks or 4 terms).
- Payments can be made per term or per week, as selected during enrolment.
- Enrolments will automatically renew two weeks before the beginning of the next term.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure sufficient funds are available for recurring payments. After three failed attempts, enrolment may be paused until payment is resolved.
2. Attendance & Conduct
- We are committed to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Disrespectful behaviour toward staff or peers may result in removal from the program.
- Students must demonstrate courtesy, honesty, and appropriate behaviour at all times.
3. Health & Safety
- Students showing signs of illness (e.g. fever, cough, fatigue) should not attend class.
- Hand sanitiser is provided and expected to be used upon entry.
- Communal props or shared items are not used unless sanitised appropriately.
4. Waiver & Liability
- Participation in performing arts classes involves physical activity. By enrolling, families accept any associated risks.
- LVBA is not liable for personal injury or property damage occurring before, during, or after class.
5. Media Consent
- By enrolling, you give permission for LVBA to use your child’s first name, image (photo/video), and class participation for promotional and marketing purposes (social media, website, print).
- If you do not consent to media use, you must notify us in writing at [email protected].
6. Intellectual Property
- All class content, exercises, materials, and digital resources are the property of LVBA.
- Recording or distributing class content without written permission is prohibited.
7. Personal Information & Privacy
- We collect only the information necessary for enrolment and participation.
- Your personal data is stored securely and will never be shared without your consent.

8. Enrolment Fee
- A once-per-year enrolment fee is charged to cover administrative costs.
- If a student returns within the same year, a new enrolment fee applies.
9. Class Schedule & Locations
- Schedules and venues are subject to change based on availability and enrolment numbers.
- Families will be notified of any changes as early as possible.
10. Mobile Phone Policy
- Students are not permitted to use mobile phones during class time.
- Phones must be switched off or stored away for the duration of class.
- If a student needs phone access due to a medical or family situation, parents must contact us to arrange an exemption.
- In an emergency, families can reach us directly on 0406 991 019.
11. Cancellations, Withdrawals & Refund Policy
- Class fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced.
- Missed classes can be made up in a similar age-appropriate class (subject to availability) within the same term. They cannot be credited, refunded, or rolled over.
- If withdrawing, notice must be given in writing at least two weeks before the next term to avoid automatic re-enrolment.
- If LVBA cancels a class, a make-up class or credit will be offered. Refunds may be considered in rare cases.
- Refunds for injury, illness, or family emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.
12. Complaints & Feedback Policy
- We welcome feedback and take all concerns seriously.
- Please email any concerns to [email protected]. Formal complaints will be acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 14 days where possible.
13. Work Health & Safety (WHS) Policy
- Our team is committed to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Staff are trained in safety and risk prevention. Hazards or injuries must be reported immediately.
- Students must wear appropriate attire and footwear.
14. Emergency Evacuation & Fire Safety
- In an emergency, trained staff will follow a clear evacuation procedure.
- Students will be escorted to the designated assembly point and supervised until collected.
- Families will be contacted via phone or SMS once safe to do so.
- Emergency exits are clearly marked and regularly inspected.
