Terms and Conditions

By signing up to any classes, workshops or events with Sparkle Studios you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Booking

• All class and workshop bookings are final and non-refundable

• Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. All invoices come with a due date - after this point late fees will be applied 

• Please do not turn up to a class or workshop having not paid.

• Class trials are £5 and all new students are entitled to 1 trial. Please note that trial classes are non refundable under all circumstances. If you are unwell or unable to attend your scheduled trial session, you may reschedule the session provided you notify us before the lesson begins. We will be happy to move your trial to the next available date.

• Upon enrollment you will be charged for the entire course with your trial class price discounted from the cost.

• Courses can be paid for on a course-by-course basis or in the form of a monthly membership (T&Cs apply)

• Missed classes are not refundable.

Health and safety

• By signing up to a course, workshop or event you are agreeing that you are fit and well to take part in said activity.

• Any relevant injury or illness must be declared to the teacher at the start of any lesson. If repeat injury occurs and declaration has not been made there will not be any liability for Sparkle Studios.

• Sparkle Studios takes no responsibility for any injuries taken on during the course of a session. Teachers are correctly trained and can advise on how to avoid injuries but students are responsible for their own health and well being.

• Sparkle Studios is not liable for any injuries as a result of improper equipment, shoes or clothing being used/worn by participants.

• Dance and physical activity always comes with a risk of injury, by signing up to a class you accept that Sparkle Studios is not liable for any injury you may acquire from taking part.

• To take part in any classes you must complete a health and fitness declaration.

Conduct and behavior

• Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during sessions will be asked to leave and not return and will not be entitled to a refund.

• Sparkle Studios core values are about being supportive and building up women, any negative behavior, harassment or bullying will not be tolerated (including online). Anyone who breaches this will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

• Harassment or abuse towards teaching staff or assistance (including online) will not be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

Studio rules

By signing up to classes at Sparkle Studios you are agreeing to the following rules:-

• Outside shoes must remain in the ‘snug’ and are not to be worn on the dance floor.

• Ballet barres are only to be used for their intended purpose, they are not to be leant on, swung from or used as a shelf.

• Food must remain in the snug and not be brought onto the dance floor

• Mirrors must not be touched 

• Heaters, aircon and other devices are not to be touched, if you wish for the temperature to be adjusted please ask your instructor

• You must notify your instructor of any damage caused to the studio or its equipment immediately 

• Please leave anything you do not need for the class in the snug area

Photography and filming

• By attending Sparkle Studios classes you are consenting to being in photos and videos that may be used for commercial and advertising purposes.

• You are within your rights to request to not be in any photos or videos, but you must make this clear at the start of your first session.

• All classes and events will have an allocated time for taking photos and recording routines, we ask that you do not record or take photos outside of this.

• You may share photos and videos from in class on to your social media pages, but you must get the consent of anyone else who features in them. You must also tag Sparkle Studios in any of these.

Copyright of choreography and images

• All dances taught in classes and workshops are the property of Sparkle Studios. They must not be taught or performed anywhere without prior consent.

• Photos and videos that are shared on Sparkle Studios website and social media pages are the property of the company. They may be shared for advertising purposes but must always be linked back to the original source.

Cancellation

• In the rare scenario that Sparkle Studios has to cancel a class or event we will give as much notice as possible and will refund or reschedule at our discretion.

Property

• Sparkle Studios takes no responsibility for any private property brought to classes or events which is lost, damaged or stolen.

• Cars are parked in the car park at your own risk. Sparkle Studios are not liable for any theft, damage or otherwise.
