Terms and Conditions

Welcome to MC Dynamic Studios! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations that govern your use of our dance studio facility and participation in our dance classes. Please read these terms carefully before enrolling or attending any classes.
1. Registration and Enrolment
1.1. All participants must complete our registration process, providing accurate and current personal information. Students and Parents are responsible to ensure their personal information is always current.
1.2. Enrolment in our dance classes is subject to availability and may require payment of specified fees.
1.3. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the registration process on their behalf.
2. Tuition, Fees and Payments
2.1. Tuition fees are payable in advance and are due on the first day of eachterm or as specified by MC Dynamic Studios. Payments are accepted through authorised payment methods, such as Cash, EFTPOS and Bank Transfer.
2.2. Tuition fees are subject to change at the discretion of the dance studio management. Any changes in tuition fees will be communicated to the students and/or their parents/legal guardians in advance.
2.3. Students and/or their parents/legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate payment information and ensuring that all payments are made on time.
2.4. To provide convenience and flexibility, MC Dynamic Studios offers After Pay as a payment option. Additionally, families with fees totalling $350 or more can choose to set up weekly or fortnightly direct debit payments for the payment of tuition fees.

3. Non-Refundable Payments
3.1. All tuition fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the studio is unable to provide the agreed-upon class or service. Weekly or upfront payments can only be seized during a term when provided with a doctor’s certificate, or an urgent or severe matter presents, and documentation will need to be provided. Alternatively, MC Dynamic Studios can offer a class swap, or a credit can be added to the customer’s account for a later period but must be used within 12 months from the selected date.
3.2. In case a student decides to withdraw from the classes before the term commences, a refund may be provided at the discretion of the dance studio management, subject to the following conditions:
3.3. Once the term has commenced, no refunds or credits will be provided for missed group classes or any unused portion of the tuition fees unless provided with a doctor’s certificate, or an urgent or severe matter presents, and documentation will need to be provided.
4. Late Payments
4.1. Payments for tuition fees that are not received by the due date will be considered late.
4.2. A late payment fee may be applied for payments received after the due date, as determined by MCDS management. A late fee of 15% will apply to any direct debit accounts or upfront invoices if not paid within 7 days after the due date.
4.3. Students and/or their parents/legal guardians are responsible for any additional costs incurred by MC Dynamic Studios in the collection of late payments. Any late payments may incur additional charges, and repeated failure to pay may result in cancellation of enrolment.
5. Age and Ability
5.1. Students must meet the age requirements specified for each class. Age restrictions are in place to ensure the safety and progression of all students.
5.2. Our instructors will assess each student's ability and assign them to the appropriate level or class. These placements are made with the best interest of the student in mind.
6. Dress Code
6.1. Students must come to class dressed in appropriate dance attire. Details regarding dress code will be provided upon enrolment.
6.2. Proper footwear must be worn at all times. Students must bring the appropriate dance shoes for their classes and change into them before their lesson.
6.3. Long hair must be tied back securely to prevent any distractions or accidents during class. Short hair must be pinned back securely to prevent any distractions or accidents during class.
7. Code of Conduct and Behaviour
7.1. We strive to maintain a respectful and positive environment for all participants. Any disruptive or abusive behaviour towards other students, instructors, or teachers will not be tolerated.
7.2. Participants are expected to follow the instructions given by instructors and teachers for their own safety and the safety of others.
7.3. Participation in our dance classes is voluntary, and MC Dynamic Studiosshall not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from participation in our classes.
7.4. If a Parent/ Legal Guardian drops off a Student to the studio and the Parent/ Legal Guardian leaves prior, during or after their classes, Students are not permitted to leave the studio under any circumstances until collected and signed out by the Parent.
8. Health and Safety, Liability and Health Forms
8.1. All participants must complete liability and health forms before participating in any activities at the dance studio.
8.2. These forms provide important contact information, medical history, and consent for emergency medical treatment if needed.
8.3. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to keep this information updated.
8.4. Participants must inform the studio of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their ability to safely engage in physical activity.
8.5. It is the responsibility of participants to notify the instructor or teacher before and during each class of any discomfort or potential injury.
8.6. MC Dynamic Studios reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who, in our judgment, appears to be unfit or incapable of safely participating in dance classes.
9. Studio Property and Equipment
9.1. Participants are expected to treat MC Dynamic Studios facility, equipment, and resources with care and respect.
9.2. The studio premises should be left in the same condition as found before each session.
9.3. Studio equipment should only be used with the proper knowledge and under the supervision of authorised personnel.
9.4. Any damage caused by a participant to the studio property or equipment must be reported immediately, and the participant may be held liable for repair or replacement costs.
9.5. Personal belongings brought to the studio are solely the responsibility of the participant, and the studio will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
10. Attendance and Punctuality
10.1. Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled classes. Late arrivals may be disruptive and can affect the student’s ability to fully participate and learn. Students will not be allowed to participate in the lesson if they arrive 15 minutes or more than the scheduled class time. Without a thorough warm up, there is potential for injuries to occur. Students will be asked to observe instead.
10.2. Regular attendance is important for the student's progress. If a student is unable to attend a class, please notify the studio in advance. If a student is injured but able to observe, MC Dynamic Studios expects the student to attend.
11. Private Lessons Policy
11.1. MC Dynamic Studios offers two types of private lessons - Progression and Competitive. Students who choose to do Progression Private Lessons must be enrolled in either Strength and Conditioning or Acrobatics. Progression Private Lessons are beneficial for the student to work on theirtechnique, and to boost their confidence performing at MC Dynamic Studios Concerts. Students will not be entering competitions but may be asked to perform at any community performances and/or events. Students who choose to do Competitive Private Lessons must be enrolled in Ballet, Jazz, and Strength and Conditioning. Competitive Private Lessons are offered to selected students who display excellent technique, musicality, and performance in their style. Students are allowed to enter competitions and Eisteddfods at their own discretion. Students must contact and inform MC Dynamic Studiosvia email, addressed to [email protected] and music will be provided. All competitive students must purchase an MC Dynamic Studios jersey or jacket to wear at competitions or events. Students will be selected to perform at any community performances and/ or events and are expected to attend, unless provided with a valid reason for declining given opportunity. Costumes are sourced by MC Dynamic Studios. Students and parents/ legal guardians may have an input on ideas and alterations, but MC Dynamic Studios will make the final decision.
11.2. Students must display excellent manners and a willingness to learn and cooperate.
11.3. Students must display maturity and a good work ethic when workingwith the Teacher and undertake self-directed practice outside of MC Dynamic Studios.
11.4. Students must demonstrate leadership and fellowship among their peers in their dedication and motivation in their group classes.
11.5. Allocated Private Lesson time slots will be tailormade to fit around MC Dynamic Studios class timetable. Student must advise as early as possible if the selected time slot does not suit. Private Lessons remain the same throughout the year. Students must advise MC Dynamic Studios in advance if a private lesson needs to be cancelled and rescheduled. If failure to comply, a makeup lesson will not be scheduled, and a credit will not be applied.
12. Cancellations and Rescheduling
12.1. If a class needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, MC Dynamic Studioswill notify all affected participants as soon as practicable, and every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative.
12.2. Participants are responsible for notifying the studio in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled class. Makeup classes for private lessons may be offered at the studio's discretion, subject to availability.
13. Communication
13.1. MC Dynamic Studios will communicate important information through emails, phone calls, text messages, newsletters via paper copy or through ourportal, or via social media such as Facebook or Instagram. Parents/ legal guardians are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date.
13.2. MC Dynamic Studios aim to advise students and their parents/ legal guardians of performance opportunities/ events, including dates and times, with as much notice as possible. However, this can sometimes not be achievable with certain circumstances, resulting in as little as 48 hours’ notice period, providing routines are finished and polished and students have a costume.
13.3. Students, parents/ legal guardians should regularly check their emails and other communication channels for updates, announcements, and any changes in class schedules or events.
13.4. MC Dynamic Studios encourage open communication between parents, students, and the dance studio teachers.
13.5. Any concerns, feedback, or suggestions should be brought directly to the attention of the studio management.
13.6. MC Dynamic Studios will promptly address any issues or questions raised in a respectful and professional manner.
14. Child Protection Policy:
14.1. MC Dynamic Studio is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children.
14.2. All staff and instructors have undergone proper background and policechecks and are trained in child protection measures.
14.3. MC Dynamic Studios strictly adhere to and follow all local laws and regulations regarding child protection.
14.4. Any allegations or suspicions of child abuse or neglect will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
15. Emergency Protocols:
15.1 In the event of an emergency, instructors and staff will follow our established emergency protocols.
15.2. Parents/guardians will be notified immediately and kept updated throughout the situation.
15.3. Every effort will be made to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals present at the dance studio.
15.4. Students will be trained on emergency procedures during their enrolment.
16. Intellectual Property Rights
16.1. All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights associated with our dance studio, classes, and materials remain the exclusive property of the studio.
16.2. Participants shall not reproduce, distribute, modify, or display any studio materials without obtaining prior written permission from the studio.
17. Privacy
17.1. MC Dynamic Studios recognises the importance of your personal privacy. All personal information provided during registration will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found on our portal, or ahard copy can be provided, however an administrative fee may be charged.
18. Amendments and Updates
18.1. The studio reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time, and participants will be notified of any changes via email or other appropriate means.
18.2. Continued use of MC Dynamic Studios and participation in its classes following any amendments shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
19. Governing Law:
19.1. This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Queensland.
19.2. Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.
By enrolling your child in MC Dynamic Studios and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all the guidelines and regulations set forth above, and agree to comply with the above terms and conditions related to tuition fees and payments.
