Terms and Conditions

Memberships 

Membership is £25.
Memberships are due in Term 1 each year and must be paid in full before attendance. Customers joining in terms 5 and 6 forego membership fees until Term 1 arrives for the new academic year.

Pricing Information

Private Lessons - £28 per session 
Classes are £5.50 (1/2 hour), £6.50 (3/4 hour) & £7.50 (1 hour).
1.5 hour classes are £7.50-9.50

 

Fees

Class fees are due upon receipt of your invoice. We reserve the right to add a late fee of £10 to the following terms’ invoice for those who are more than 21 days overdue from the invoice issue date.

All classes are to be paid TERMLY IN ADVANCE. Mid-term joining of New Thing Academy members will pay the remaining weeks of the current term.
By you (or your child) attending any amount of classes in a term, you are obligated to paying for the full term.
PRIVATE LESSONS are to be booked directly with the teacher and students/parents will be invoiced.

UNATTENDED PRIVATE LESSONS will result in a charge for the full lesson.
Fees for late or unattended classes and prepaid private lessons are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Outstanding and Unpaid Fees

We will give parents every chance to contact us and arrange (at our discretion) a payment scheme if there are any difficulties in paying New Thing Academy Invoices. Invoiced fees that go unpaid, or if a pre-arranged payment schedule is not adhered to, will be collected via a GOV.UK SMALL CLAIMS COURT application.

Uniform

New Thing Academy requires ALL students to wear a uniform
Ballet - Leotards and pink tights (Pink ballet socks for juniors)
Tap & Modern - New Thing Academy T-Shirts, black leggings
Boys - New Thing Academy T-Shirts, black shorts
Only one uniform (Ballet or Modern/Tap) need be worn if classes are consecutive.
Students are encouraged to wear their NEW THING uniforms when attending festivals.

Photography

By joining New Thing Academy you agree to videography and photography of your child/children being used for New Thing Academy promotion.
