Terms and conditions
Class fees:
- Signing up through class manager and setting up a subscription is the only booking/payment option that Next Level Dance Studios will accept.
- Fees are taken from your account on the 15th of the month. This covers classes for the following month.
- Any fees that are not paid on the 15th of the month will incur a £10 late payment fee. Fee’s that are still unpaid after 7 days (22nd) will result in the student losing their place in the class.
- All fees and show/competitions/events money paid is non-refundable.
- All invoices will be sent on the 1st of the month, this allows you time to check the invoice/classes ahead of the subscription coming out of your account on the 15th. You also have the option of manually paying your invoice at the start of the month if you prefer by logging into your portal account.
- Our fees are pro rata – the total cost of classes is split across 12 monthly payments.
- Cancellation policy – we require any cancellations or amendment of classes to be communicated to us by the 7th of the month. This allows us 7 days to amend your existing subscription - any queries to classes after the 7th will still be charged as normal on the 15th.
- If for what ever reason a class is cancelled a make up class will be offered. No cancelled classes will be refunded/credited.
- Pay as you go and private lessons must be paid for on or before the start of the class. A 24 hour cancellation notice must be given for private lessons, otherwise fees will remain payable.
- No refunds will be given whatsoever once payment has been made and no refunds or make up classes will be given for missed classes.
Membership fee:
- All customers of Next Level Dance are required to pay an annual £15 membership fee upon joining. Any customers that join from March-July this will be reduced to £7.50.
- For existing customers the £15 membership fee will automatically be charged on your September subscription ever year.
- By joining Next Level Dance you understand that the annual membership fee must be paid to secure your child's place at our school. Membership fee's are mandatory.
General Terms & Conditions:
- The customer is responsible for all charges associated with their child's dance class. See class fee’s T&C’s above.
- All parents must complete the registration form when joining us, with clear information regarding emergency contacts and relevant medical history. It is the parent/guardian responsibility to update any changes to their emergency contact information. You can do this by logging into your parent portal account or accessing your class manager app.
- Any medical conditions must be disclosed upon registration and the responsibility falls on you the parent/guardian to update us when necessary thereafter.
- Physical contact may be necessary when helping to demonstrate or correct.
- Parents/Guardians understand that dance is as active as engagement as any sport, and whilst every effort is made to avoid them, injuries can happen. Next Level Dance accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained via any means other than a teachers negligence.
- Pupils will be supervised whilst in the dance studio only and parents/guardians must ensure the safety of their children in the reception, changing, staircase and toilet areas.
- Parents are not permitted into the studios unless invited by a class teacher.
- NLD accepts the right to change the timetable without prior notice. All amendment's will be communicated to parents.
- NLD does not accept the responsibility for items lost or stolen. Anything left behind will be placed in lost property for 14 days.
- Students will only be put forward for competitions and/or exams once the required standard is attained.
- You accept that your data can be used by NLD in accordance with the new GDPR guidelines and NLD can use your provided contact details to keep in touch.
- In the event of a lockdown due to a national health emergency all fees paid for will be held as credit until we are able to reopen. No refunds will be given.
- Social Media: If you or your child posts anything related to NLD online can you please make sure that you tag us in this. Choreography must not be posted unless you have permission from your child’s teacher. By completing our online enrolment forms you give us permission to take photos/videos of your child for promotional use. If you do not wish for photo’s to be taken please withdraw consent in writing/email.
- All customers understand that any complaints/disagreements must be discussed firstly and formally with Lucy Fallows at an appropriate point. Social media is to be used for positive promotional purposes only and not as a means of contact or slander.
- Whilst every care is taken to safeguard dancers, I accept that my child/myself attends Next Level Dance at their own risk.
Next Level Dance will foster a culture of respect. respect for teachers, respect for students, respect for the studios and respect for one another. Anyone found in breach of this ethos risks the future of their dance lessons and this will be managed on a case by case basis.
Uniform:
- Correct uniform should be adhered to at all times.
- All students are required to have the correct uniform after a maximum of 6 weeks attendance.
- All uniform must be purchased directly from Next Level Dance.
- Hair must be tied back at all times & no jewellery worn.
