PAYMENT OF FEES POLICY

ALL CLASS FEES are PAYABLE should your child attend their classes or not – FEES are payable MONTHLY by the DUE DATE on RECEIPT of your invoice.  There are no reductions or refunds for missed classes under any circumstances (including injury, sickness or holidays). A refund will not be provided if classes have to be cancelled due to an event beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to fire, flood, storm, bad weather (including heavy snow disrupting transport) or other Act of God, pandemic or epidemic of any disease, industrial action, war, civil unrest, terrorist threat or incident.

If a student has a long-term illness, fees may be refunded at the Principal Teachers discretion. This does NOT include MINOR ILLNESS or HOLIDAYS TAKEN DURING STUDIO TERM TIME. 

On the rare occasion that a class is CANCELLED by NTDS, it will be rescheduled, OR an alternative class offered. If this is not possible, any fees already paid for the scheduled class will be subtracted from the next month’s fees.  The school will not be held responsible for classes cancelled for circumstances beyond the school’s control. If it is necessary to cancel a class due to adverse weather conditions / a force majeure, class fees will NOT be refunded.

CONTINUING ENROLMENT  A student’s enrolment continues automatically from one term and academic year to the next, including after school holidays, unless the required written notice of withdrawal is received. Parents are not required to re-enrol or reconfirm their child’s place each September. One full calendar month’s written notice and payment of all fees due during the notice period are required to withdraw from the school. Students may continue attending their classes throughout the notice period.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY - Parents/Guardians wishing to discontinue their dancers’ classes at the school are required to give 1 MONTH’S NOTICE, with 1 MONTH’S payment of fees.

PAYMENT The only METHOD OF PAYMENT is by online bank transfer / BACS. Account details see invoice.

PRIVATE LESSONS – are PAYABLE should your child attend or not with NO EXCEPTIONS

FESTIVALS / EVENTS – fees for classes missed by Students who are competing at a Festival or Event will NOT be refunded.   However, should a student miss classes due to being at a Festival or Event there is the option to attend any timetabled classes to make up for this (with PRIOR NOTIFICATION).

ASSOCIATE COURSES / VOCATIONAL COURSES / OUTSIDE WORKSHOPS / ‘MASTER’ CLASSES – any classes missed due to attendance of classes / rehearsals / performances with ANY outside courses / workshops or productions are PAYABLE IN FULL with NO EXCEPTIONS.  All NTDS EVENTS, PERFORMANCES, COMPETITIONS, etc must ALWAYS take precedence over the above mentioned.  Permission from the PRINCIPAL TEACHER should be obtained in advance to attend any of the above mentioned.

THIS POLICY applies to ALL STUDENTS of the School and includes ALL CLASSES taken at the school – there being NO EXCEPTIONS.
