Performance
Acro – Parent Agreement, Terms & Waiver
By enrolling your child in Performance Acro classes or
workshops, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.
Enrolment
- Enrolments for term classes and
holiday workshops can be completed online via our parent portal, email,
phone, or private message.
- Enrolment in a term does not
automatically roll over; a separate enrolment is required for each term.
- Current students will be given a
priority enrolment period to re-enrol before classes open to new students.
- Class availability is subject to
enrolment order and class capacity.
Trial
Classes
- Trials are available if space
permits.
- Under 5s: free trial
- School-age 1-hour classes: $5
trial
- Payment for trial classes must
be made at the time of booking.
- Post-trial, your child’s place
is held for 24 hours only.
2. Fees
& Payment
- Payment of fees confirms your
child’s enrolment.
- Siblings receive a 5% discount
(not applicable to payment plans or late fees).
- Term fees are due prior to the
commencement of term. Payment plans are available upon request.
- Late payments incur a 5% fee.
Unpaid fees may result in your child being unable to attend.
- Fees for holiday programs must
be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Casual classes are only
available if regular classes are not full.
Refunds
& Non-Refundable Fees
- Once the term or program starts,
fees are generally non-refundable.
- If Performance Acro cannot
provide the classes or services as promised, or if Australian law gives
you a right to a refund, we will comply and provide a refund or credit as
required.
3.
Attendance, Make-Up Classes & Absences
- Students are expected to arrive
on time and be collected promptly after class. Performance Acro cannot
supervise outside scheduled class times.
- If your child misses a class,
you’re welcome to request a make-up class. Make-up classes are
subject to availability; please email us to arrange a suitable time. 2 make up sessions are available each term and must be used within that term.
4.
Behaviour & Conduct
Students:
- Must behave respectfully toward
instructors and peers.
- Must follow all instructions and
remain with their assigned group.
- Water breaks are at the coach’s
discretion; students must stay with their group during breaks.
Parents:
- Must respect the class
environment and avoid disrupting sessions.
- Should communicate any concerns before
or after class, not during the session.
5.
Clothing, Footwear, and Food/Drink
Clothing:
- Students should wear clothing that
allows full freedom of movement (leotards, fitted tops, leggings, or
flexible shorts).
- Clothing should be safe and
non-restrictive; avoid baggy clothing that may get caught during
activities.
- Hair must be tied back.
- Jewelry: No rings, necklaces,
bracelets, or dangling earrings.
Footwear:
- No shoes are allowed in the gym.
This applies to all students, parents, guardians, and visitors.
- Students must be barefoot or
wear grip socks only.
Food
& Drink:
- No food is permitted in the gym,
for anyone, at any time.
- Water is allowed in a clearly
labeled bottle and may only be consumed in designated break areas.
- Sugary drinks, snacks, or
chewing gum are not allowed during class.
Why these
rules matter:
- Prevents slipping and equipment
damage.
- Reduces risk of injury.
- Keeps the gym clean, safe, and
hygienic for all participants.
6.
Supervision & Safety
- Students are in the care of
Performance Acro only during scheduled class times.
- Acrobatics involves inherent
risks, including falls, collisions, muscle strains, and other injuries.
While instructors provide supervision and guidance, injuries may occur.
- Parents acknowledge these risks
but understand Performance Acro takes all reasonable precautions to
maintain a safe environment.
7.
Medical Conditions & Physical Contact
- Parents must notify us in
writing of any medical conditions affecting participation (e.g., asthma,
diabetes, epilepsy, musculoskeletal issues).
- Physical contact from
instructors may be required to ensure safety and proper skill execution.
8.
Cancellation & Withdrawal
Term
Enrolments:
- Cancellations more than 14 days
before the term starts may be eligible for a refund, less a $30
administration fee.
- Cancellations within 14 days of
term commencement are not eligible for refunds.
- Once the term starts, fees are
generally non-refundable. Exceptions apply if services cannot be provided
or as required under Australian Consumer Law.
Medical
Withdrawals (Term Classes):
- A valid medical certificate may
allow partial credit at the studio’s discretion; no cash refunds.
Class
Changes:
- Subject to availability and
studio approval.
Holiday
Programs / Workshops:
- Full payment is required to
secure a place.
- Cancellations more than 7 days
prior may receive credit for future programs, less a $20 administration
fee.
- Cancellations within 7 days are
not eligible for refunds or credits, except with a valid medical
certificate (partial credit may be issued at studio discretion).
9.
Governing Law & Consumer Rights
- This agreement is governed by
the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- Nothing in this agreement limits
or excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10.
Acknowledgement & Consent
By enrolling
your child, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and
agree to this combined Terms, Conditions & Waiver.
- Your child is physically fit to
participate and you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions.
- You accept the inherent risks of
acrobatics and related activities.
- You agree to abide by all rules
and instructions of Performance Acro staff.
