Terms and Conditions

PerformX Academy – Enrolment Terms & Conditions (2025)

1. Term Commitment

Enrolment at PerformX is ongoing. Families do not need to re-enrol each term. However:

Term Fee: Fees include weekly classes, performance preparation and workshops for that term.

Payment Options:

There are no refunds or credits for missed classes or change of mind once the term begins except for the first lesson guarantee.

3. Withdrawals & Cancellations

Withdrawals must be submitted in writing to [email protected] at least 7 days before the start of term to avoid being charged the full term fee.

The date your email is received determines the applicable withdrawal fee.

4. Attendance & Commitment

Why this matters:

PerformX is a team-based, performance-driven program. Each student plays a vital role in group numbers, choreography, and scene development. Missing classes affects not only your child’s progress, but the cohesion and readiness of the entire group. Regular attendance ensures every student feels confident, supported, and ready to shine.

All PerformX students must:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or unsafe behaviour. Serious breaches may result in removal from the program without refund.

6. Uniform & Rehearsal Requirements

All students are required to wear the PerformX uniform and suitable footwear to class to reflect the professional environment of performing arts.  Costume requirements for performances will either be provided or shared in advance with time to source independently if needed.

By enrolling, you consent to PerformX photographing or filming your child during classes and performances and using this content for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and printed materials.

If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before the start of term.

9. Health & Safety

Parents/guardians must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs prior to the first class. If medication (e.g., EpiPen or inhaler) is required, it must be brought to every session.

In the event of an emergency, PerformX staff may seek medical attention for your child if needed. You agree to cover any associated costs.

If classes are cancelled due to events outside our control (e.g., lockdowns, venue closures, extreme weather), PerformX will:

12. First Lesson Guarantee

We’re confident your child will love their time at PerformX. But if for any reason it’s not the right fit:

This guarantee is available to first-time students in their first term only.

13. Priority Re-Enrolment for New School Year

Currently enrolled students will receive priority placement for the new school year. Information about the following year’s program will be shared in January.
