Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to Platinum Performing Arts classes that are provided to students, applied for and consented to by their Parent/Carer (referred to hereinafter as “student”). Changes to these Terms and Conditions require the written consent of Platinum Performing Arts. Platinum Performing Arts reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions.
Classes
Classes take place weekly and run as per the Academic Year. Students are expected to attend all classes at their scheduled time – these times are published on the Platinum Performing Arts ‘Timetable’. Students who arrive late, may need to wait until an appropriate time to take part in the class. If the student arrives after registers have been taken in classes, they must sign in with Front of House staff. Once the school is open you will be invoice and are required to pay for all classes If your child does not attend even if you have notified us of your their absence due to sickness, prior engagements etc. There will be no charge for when Platinum is closed. Parents/Carers should inform Platinum Performing Arts if the child is going to be absent from the scheduled class. Platinum Performing Arts reserve the right to make changes to ‘Timetables’ and Teaching Staff.
Fees
Invoices are issued at the end of each Saturday/Sunday of each month. Fees are due on the first Saturday/Sunday of each month. Late payments will incur a £5 late fee, which will be applied weekly until the balance is cleared. Late fees will be applied for a maximum of four weeks, thereafter, should the balance remain outstanding, the student will not be permitted into classes until the matter has been resolved.
Free Trial Sessions
Where a student is attending any class for the first time, they receive a Free Trial Session. These sessions should be booked online at www.platinumperformingarts.co.uk/apply or arranged via email or phone.
Annual Registration Fee
A non-refundable £57 Registration Fee is charged annually from the time the student registered with Platinum Performing Arts. The Registration Fee is inclusive of Platinum Performing Arts Uniform and Administrative Fees.
Uniform
All Platinum Performing Arts students are expected to attend all their scheduled classes in full Platinum Performing Arts uniform and/or the appropriate attire for Ballet/Tap classes. Jewellery should not be worn and long hair should be tied back.
Lost/Damaged Belongings
Platinum Performing Arts accept no responsibility for any loss or damaged personal belongings.
Additional Costs and Contributions
Platinum Performing Arts reserves the right to request any additional costs/contributions that go towards costumes for any Platinum Performing Arts related productions, external events, competitions and performances.
Staff and Chaperones
All Platinum Performing Arts Staff are DBS Checked and Qualified in their specialist subjects. Chaperones are fully licensed and trained by the local authority. Platinum Performing Arts Staff and Chaperones may use physical contact ONLY to assist students in the development and improvement of their technique and movements. Physical contact may also be used when administrating First Aid and when assisting students with their costume changes.
Personal Data
Platinum Performing Arts respects your privacy. When it comes to your personal information, we believe in transparency, not surprises. That’s why we’ve set out what personal information we collect, what we do with it and your choices and rights in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
Participation
Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Platinum Performing Arts Staff of any existing injuries or medical conditions. In the event a student is not able to take part in their class, it is advised that they sit and watch so that they are knowledgeable of what is expected of them for when they are able to re-join the class.
Termination
If you decide to terminate your contract with Platinum Performing Arts, you must provide us with a four-week written notice to [email protected]
