Terms and Conditions
The undersigned acknowledges that he/she is the parent/guardian responsible for the above named student’s tuition fees for the Year 2024/25 and further acknowledges the receipt of the rules and regulations for Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy and agrees to abide by said rules and regulations.
Rules and Regulations:
There will be NO refunds or make-up for missed classes.
There will be no refunds for cancelled classed due to severe weather conditions. We advise you to call the studio when there are severe weather conditions to see if classes have been cancelled.
No refunds of either tuition fees or competition fees are available for any Rhythm and Grace Dance Academy students who choose, for any reason(s) whatsoever, to not attend a certain competition(s) or to quit attending classes and competitions at any point beyond the beginning of the season.
Costume fees must be paid for in full by students who choose, for any reason(s) whatsoever, to not attend a certain competition(s) or to quit attending classes and competitions at any point beyond the beginning of the season.
Students leaving money or valuables in the dressing rooms do so at their own risk. We suggest not bringing valuables to the studio, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
There will be No food or drinks allowed in the dressing rooms. No gum chewing or peanut products allowed in the studio or in class.
Students must not vandalize dressing room areas or studios. Anyone caught will be responsible for damages.
Children who are not dancing may not be left unsupervised at the studio. Students should be picked up within 15 minutes from end of class time.

It is the responsibility of the parent to make sure they are responsible in receiving all newsletters/emails and information given out at the studio.
All competitive companies will have to purchase an RGDA Team Sweater.

No refunds given if leaving the program after paying the yearly tuition discounted price.
A 10% late fee will be applied for any past due payments.
Assumption Of Risk:
Neither Rhythm and Grace Dance Academy nor its representatives shall be held responsible for any injury, accident, damages, losses, demands, claims and acting lawsuits or proceedings arising from student participation in the dance program, classes, rehearsals, showcases, competitions or other activities associated with Rhythm and Grace Dance Academy. The Undersigned acknowledges acceptance of this condition.
COVID-19:
Further to the foregoing and as a result of the extraordinary conditions imposed by the COVID- 19 Pandemic, in the event of competition cancellations, delays, no-shows or otherwise, Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy will not provide any refunds of any fees collected in advance of competitions, beyond those limited fees which may be reimbursed by certain competition companies from time-to-time, for any reasons whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to, any and all fees related to competitions and costumes. It is important that all parents/guardians of Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy students understand that dance competitions, as a matter of standard industry practice, do not provide refunds of studio fees submitted in advance of cancelled, delayed, or otherwise altered competitions, and that costumes similarly cannot be refunded once paid for. As a result, neither Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy nor the individual competition companies can offer any form of reimbursement whatsoever for these fees once paid. The Undersigned acknowledges that their fees, once paid, are non-refundable in the event of any cancellation, delay, or any other reasons, whether related to the COVID-19 Pandemic or otherwise, and that the Undersigned hereby releases Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy from any potential claims relating to the reimbursement of the aforementioned fees.
Another unfortunate result of the COVID-19 Pandemic is that regular in-person classes will indefinitely remain subject to the requirements of the Ontario Government’s health and safety guidelines. Although Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy remains committed to hosting regular in-person classes while maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment, it may be necessary from time-to-time to migrate classes online or to other distance-learning formats. These changes are incorporated into the tuition fees of every student at Rhythm & Grace Dance Academy and, accordingly, the Undersigned acknowledges that there will be no tuition fee reimbursements of any kind whatsoever as a result of any regular in-person class suspensions. This condition applies regardless of the length and duration of in-person class suspensions, including, but not limited to, the entire length of each dance season, and regardless of the reason(s) for in-person class suspensions, whether related to the COVID-19 Pandemic or otherwise.
