Teachers, Parents and Students must be respected at all times.
Childish and Nasty Behavior will not be tolerated.
Rhythm Edge is not a day care centre therefore it is the responsibility of the parent / guardian to ensure the student is collected on time. Office hours are 3pm – 5pm, during these hours the main entrance is supervised. It is mandatory that the students are to wait inside after these hours and it is the students’ responsibility to adhere to this rule.
The Warm- Up Room is for warm-up / practice purposes only. If the student injures his/herself whilst in this room Rhythm Edge will not be held responsible. It is the responsibility of the student to behave and undertake safe dance practice whilst in this room. This also applies when students are using either studio for the same reasons.
Students are welcome to participate in the iDance with Kady Brandon / Coaching with Kady ballet program, however this is an extra tuition program only and students must commit to ballet with REDS first. Students are only permitted to do ballet strengthening or a class REDS does not offer with Miss Kady.
Absolutely no choreography owned by Rhythm Edge Dance Studios is to be coached by any other teacher/ instructor / coach other than Rhythm Edge staff. Penalties will apply.
Students who wish to train at alternate schools or performance programs without informing or negotiating with the Principal will result in cancelled enrolment.
All routines, video content and cut music taught at REDS are owned under the copyright law held by Rhythm Edge Dance Studios. This also applies with competition routines.
Any routines choreographed by Rhythm Edge staff are not to be performed without permission by the Principal.
End of Year Concert
All students who enroll with Rhythm Edge Dance Studios will be given the opportunity to participate in our end of year concert, with the exception of BUBBY DANCE (it will be decided by the Principal during Term 3 whether or not these little superstars will be ready for the big stage just yet).
If you do not wish for your child to be a part of our end of year concert it is the responsibility of the PARENT / GUARDIAN to let us know. If we are not contacted before the beginning of Term 3, we will assume the student is participating.
Our end of year concert is filmed by a professional dance videographer, therefore students who do not have media release permission will be unable to participate in our concert.
As every sport does, we require commitment. A dance group is just as much of a team sport as any soccer, basketball or netball team. If you cannot commit to doing your best to get your child to every lesson (with the exception of illness, of course) maybe our concert is not for you. If your child misses more than three lessons per style in term 4, we will withhold the right to remove your child from certain parts of the routine if deemed necessary.
WE OFFER A GRACE PERIOD IN TERM 1 WHERE ANY STUDENT CAN TRIAL / CHANGE DANCE STYLES BEFORE THE END OF WEEK 3. AFTER THIS, IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT WISH TO CONTINUE A SPECIFIC STYLE OR CANCEL THEIR ENROLMENT, THEY MUST FINISH OUT THE TERM AND YOU MUST LET US KNOW OF ANY CHANGES BY THE LAST DAY OF THE TERM. IF YOU HAVE NOT LET US KNOW WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY INVOICE YOU FOR THE NEXT TERM AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THESE FEES. IF YOUR CHILD WISHES TO WITHDRAW FROM A SPECIFIC STYLE OR CANCEL ENROLMENT MID TERM, YOU WILL FOREFIT THESE FEES. IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO PAY YOUR FEES OFF AND THEN WISH TO WITHDRAW FROM A SPECIFIC STYLE OR CANCEL ENROLMENT MID TERM, YOU WILL STILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE TERM FEE IN FULL. WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF MIND MID-TERM. .
• If your invoice is not paid in full by the end of each term, a late fee of $30.00 will be charged.• If your child decides to change / withdraw from a specific dance style after the invoice has been sent for that term, a $15.00 fee will be charged to change the invoice unless a medical certificate is provided. To avoid this, please advise us of the change at the end of the previous term.
