(Official Academy & Multi-Campus Governance Policy – 2026)
Effective for all Rocketstars campuses, programs, and affiliated locations.
1. Nature of Enrolment
Rocketstars is a structured academy program.
Enrolment secures:
A reserved position
Coach allocation
Venue allocation
Structured curriculum placement
Fees are charged for position reservation, not attendance count.
Non-attendance does not reduce financial obligation.
2. Enrolment & Payment
2.1 All enrolments must be completed via the official Parent Portal or authorised administration.
2.2 Fees are payable in advance unless an approved payment plan is in place.
2.3 All payments are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
2.4 Rocketstars reserves the right to suspend enrolment where fees remain unpaid.
3. No Make-Up Policy (Group Programs)
Rocketstars operates under a strict structured-term system.
There are no make-up classes for missed group sessions for any reason, including:
Illness
School events
Holidays
Personal commitments
Scheduling conflicts
Families anticipating multiple absences should enrol as Casual.
4. Casual Recalculation Rule
If a student attends five (5) classes or fewer within a term, Rocketstars reserves the right to:
Recalculate the enrolment using Casual Class rates.
Any price difference becomes immediately payable.
5. Special Class Adjustment Policy
Any approved schedule adjustment:
Must be completed within two (2) weeks of the original session.
Cannot extend beyond the current term.
Even under special circumstances, cannot exceed one term.
Unused adjustments expire automatically.
Urgent schedule changes must be requested at least 12 hours prior to session commencement.
Requests within 12 hours will not be accepted.
6. Private Lesson Policy
Private lessons require venue booking and coach allocation.
Cancellation under any circumstance:
Venue hire fees are non-refundable.
Administrative costs are non-refundable.
Cancellation within 24 hours of session start results in full session fee charged.
No credits or transfers apply unless approved at management discretion.
7. Late Pick-Up Policy
Parents must collect students promptly at class conclusion.
A 10-minute grace period applies.
After 10 minutes:
$20 per 15 minutes supervision fee applies.
After 30 minutes:
Emergency contacts may be notified.
Incident recorded.
Repeated late collection may result in suspension of enrolment.
This policy ensures child safety and fairness to staff and families.
8. Debt Recovery & Outstanding Accounts
Accounts overdue by more than 7 days may incur a $30 administrative fee.
Accounts overdue by more than 14 days may result in suspension.
Accounts exceeding 21 days may be referred to an external debt recovery agency.
All recovery costs are payable by the parent/guardian.
Rocketstars reserves the right to:
Withhold reports
Withhold competition participation
Decline re-enrolment
9. Behaviour & Parent Conduct
Rocketstars maintains a respectful learning environment.
Parents agree to:
Respect coach authority
Avoid sideline coaching
Raise concerns through official channels
Rocketstars reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment where behaviour compromises safety or academy culture.
No refund applies in such cases.
10. Child Safety & Duty of Care
Rocketstars complies with Victorian Child Safe Standards.
Parents must:
Disclose relevant medical or behavioural conditions
Ensure timely collection
Parents remain responsible outside supervised session times.
11. Injury & Liability
Participation in sport and dance carries inherent risk.
By enrolling, parents acknowledge and accept these risks.
Rocketstars liability is limited to the extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
Rocketstars is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
12. Intellectual Property Protection
All Rocketstars:
Curriculum
Training systems
Assessment frameworks
Branding
Logos
Manuals
Digital content
Are protected intellectual property.
No reproduction, adaptation, or commercial use is permitted without written consent.
Former staff, contractors or affiliates may not replicate Rocketstars systems for commercial use.
13. Multi-Campus Governance
Rocketstars operates through a hybrid structure of corporate-owned and affiliated campuses.
Policies apply uniformly across all Rocketstars locations.
Participation at any campus constitutes agreement to central governance policies.
14. Annual Fee Adjustment
Rocketstars reserves the right to adjust pricing annually based on:
Operational costs
Venue fees
Staff wages
Inflation
Notice will be provided prior to implementation.
15. Automatic Re-Enrolment
Where applicable, students may be automatically rolled into the next term unless written notice is received at least 14 days prior to the new term.
Failure to notify may result in financial commitment for the upcoming term.
16. Complaints Procedure
All concerns must follow formal process:
Step 1 – Written email to administration [email protected]
Step 2 – Internal review within 14 business days
Step 3 – Written outcome
Public escalation before internal resolution is discouraged.
17. Force Majeure
Rocketstars is not liable for events beyond reasonable control including:
Extreme weather
Government restrictions
Venue closure
Staff illness
Make-up or credit is not guaranteed.
18. Privacy & Data
Rocketstars complies with Australian Privacy Principles.
Personal information is collected solely for operational and safety purposes.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
20. Image, Likeness & Media Release (Family Portrait Rights)20.1 Purpose
Rocketstars Education (“Rocketstars”) celebrates student development and community achievements.
Photographs and videos may be taken during classes, events, competitions, camps, and performances.
20.2 Consent
By enrolling in Rocketstars programs, parents/guardians grant Rocketstars permission to:
Photograph
Film
Record
Livestream
Students and, where applicable, accompanying family members present at Rocketstars events.
20.3 Use of Media
Media may be used for:
Website content
Social media platforms
Marketing materials
Promotional campaigns
Internal publications
Franchise promotional materials
Educational documentation
No compensation is payable for such use.
20.4 Ownership
All photographs, videos, and digital recordings created by Rocketstars remain the intellectual property of Rocketstars Education.
Rocketstars retains the right to edit, reproduce, publish, and distribute such material.
20.5 Privacy Protection
Rocketstars will:
Avoid publishing full names without consent
Avoid publishing sensitive personal information
Use media respectfully and professionally
20.6 Opt-Out Option
Families who do not wish for their child’s image to be used must submit written notice prior to or at the time of enrolment.
Rocketstars will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
However, Rocketstars is not responsible for:
Media captured by other parents
Public event photography beyond our control
Third-party platform sharing
20.7 Public Events
At competitions, showcases, and public events, photography may occur by:
Event organisers
Spectators
Media outlets
Rocketstars cannot control third-party recording in public venues.
20.8 Revocation
Consent may be withdrawn in writing.
Future use will cease within a reasonable administrative timeframe.
Previously published material may not be retractable.
