Parents/guardians and participants are given the option to consent to the use
of images and footage and may choose if they do not wish themselves or their
child to be depicted. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by confirming in
writing.
At performances and events, other attendees (such as parents or guardians of
participants) may take photographs or videos for their own personal use. While
Ruth Nuttall School of Dance cannot control personal filming by third parties,
we will make reasonable efforts to respect any preferences communicated to

Any paper-based records are stored in a locked cupboard at the business
address.
We retain personal information for up to three years after a child leaves the
school. Some information, including financial, accident, and medical records,
may be retained for longer where required by law.
Once data is no longer required, it is securely disposed of by deleting digital
records or shredding hard copies.
