Terms and Conditions

DANCE SCHOOL POLICIES- 

REGISTRATION- All students are required to enrol within the dance school, this secures their place in class and makes sure we have their most up to date contact details. If your contact details change, please let us know ASAP. 

LEAVING THE SCHOOL- Please give  one month's notice if your child will be leaving us. No refunds will be given for anything you have previously paid for regardless of leaving. If you do not inform us that you are leaving you will be continued to be billed. 

FEES- Fees are paid on a monthly basis. A late fee of 10% is added for every week on an over due invoice. Failure to make payments for over 2 months will result in your child being removed from the register. No refunds will be given if a child misses classes.

UNIFORM & FOOTWEAR - Students should be in correct uniform, appropriate footwear and neatly groomed at all times. Proper dance wear allows the teacher to see the dancers body line and is upmost important for the dancers safety. All uniform is available via links attached on our portal.

PUNCTUALITY & ATTENDANCE- Students should be on time and attend classes regularly. This is essential for learning the work and getting the most out of classes. Missing warm ups increase the risk of injury and late arrivals can disrupt a class.

CHILD PROTECTION- Safety of our students is a priority at SBSOD. All staff are DBS checked, fully qualified and we have a child protection policy in place.

RESPECT AND ANTI -BULLYING - We ask all students, their families and staff to be respectful to each other and to be encouraging refraining from negative comments. We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying and will remove students and families from the school if they are found to be bullying. 

CLASS SAFETY - No student will be allowed to perform a skill until the teacher feels they are ready to. Students should listen and follow their teachers instructions carefully, they are in place for their safety. It is at the discretion of the teacher if a child is ready to progress to the next level or class. Our teachers are trained and have your child's best interests at heart. Processing too quickly can hinder their overall learning experience.
