To help you get the best out of Stage It! Dance Academy, to understand our responsibilities to you & to your responsibilities to us, please ensure you read the following terms & conditions. These Terms and Conditions listed below define the agreement between Stage it! Dance Academy and the Parents/guardians of students that attend Stage It! Dance and let you know what to expect from us and what we expect from you.
The following policies exist to safeguard the wellbeing of pupils & staff & ensure that the good name of our school continues to be associated with high standard we provide and enjoyment of dance.
Stage It! Dance academy reserves the right to refuse entry to classes if these rules are not complied with. Policies, procedures, terms & conditions will be reviewed on a regular basis and parents/guardians & pupils will be advised to read the document thoroughly to ensure a clear understanding is gained.

1. Payments and Fee’s
1.1In order for a place to be kept open for a child in our classes, payment is required monthly in advance by subscription service only.
1.2Signing up through Class manager portal is the only registration and payment method accepted here at Stage It! Dance. All portals will need to be set up by the parent/guardian via link which will be emailed to you.
1.3We reserve the right to make changes to these monthly amounts and collection date if necessary. In this case you will be given notice via email prior to collection.
1.4Fees are reviewed annually.
1.5 Payments will be taken from the account on 1st of each month. Failure to make payments on time may result in losing your place. If you are having trouble paying, please speak with us and we will do our best to help.
1.6Late Payments/failed payments will incur a fee of £5 for each attempt.
1.7Prices are based on 36 weeks of the year and pro-rated over 12 months.
1.8There is an annual membership fee of £10 per student to cover setting up each student on our system, insurances and licencing fees.
1.9 All fee’s & event fees are non-refundable.
1.10 Any students wishing to take part in our performances/events will be required to purchase/hire costumes and tickets.
1.11 Private lessons, costume fee’s, event fees are to be paid upfront.
2. Cancellation
2.1Should your child wish to cancel any of their classes, we require one month’s written notice via email to [email protected]. Fees are still viable within this month and must be paid. We have the right to take legal action against any unpaid fees.
2.2Cancelling (direct debits) subscription payments without informing Stage It! Dance will incur an admin charge of £5.
2.3Any classes that fall under 5 students in total may be subject to being cancelled.
2.4All unattended lessons are still payable. It is at the school’s discretion as to whether we can schedule substitute lessons for the students if necessary.
3. Clothing
3.1Stage It! Dance branded merchandise is available to order from us. It is compulsory for every student to own a branded T-shirt. This is their uniform for classes which must be always worn.
3.2No Jewellery or accessories to be worn in any of our classes for obvious safety reasons.
3.3Hair should be in a neat and tidy ponytail or bun with hair securely off the student’s face. (Any acro sessions hair must be in a bun).
4. Classes and Performances
4.1Stage It! Dance aims to provide the very best training; we will implement an element of discipline to be able to achieve this but still allow the students to have fun. If we feel any student is being disruptive on a regular basis we will issue a verbal warning. If this continues, we will speak to the relevant parent/guardian about the matter.
4.2Promotional pictures and footage will be taken throughout the year during classes, we may also occasionally work in collaboration with outside companies in line with our data protection policy and refer to our registration forms for authority from parents.
4.3Our annual performances will be recorded professionally, personal camera’s and recording equipment are not permitted.
4.4We advise your child does not bring any valuables to the studio with them, Stage It! Dance do not take liability for lost or damaged belongings. Any belongings should have the child’s name clearly marked.
4.5No child will be allowed to leave the building without a parent/guardian present (unless arranged otherwise), your child’s safety is paramount to us.
4.6Stage It! Dance can not be held responsible for any injuries incurred during dance classes. Teachers will ensure students are learning and progressing in a safe manner.
4.7If you are going to be late to pick up your child, you must make contact with us to inform us. If we haven’t heard from you by 15 minutes after the end of the session finishes, late charges will apply.
4.8If you wish to add/drop a class, this must be confirmed in writing to [email protected].
5. Discipline
5.1Unruly, disruptive behaviour in class is not tolerated. We have a strict antibullying policy in place and expect our students to always adhere to his.
5.2We believe in teaching boundaries and setting a good example in line with our positive ethos to build our students confidence.
5.3 Our staff will not tolerate abusive or disruptive behaviour from students or parents. We will treat everyone with respect and appreciate the same in return.
5.4If a child/parent displays consistent unruly or aggressive behaviour, this could result in termination.
6. General
6.1Any medical conditions must be disclosed to us upon registration, the responsibility falls on you as the parent/guardian to update us, when necessary, thereafter. It is imperative that we are always fully aware of any health implications, for your child’s safety and your own peace of mind.
6.2Stage It! Dance’s communication is made via email, social media, class manager and occasionally via text or WhatsApp. Please ensure you follow our social media platforms for recent updates and continue to check junk/spam folders. Other important information can be found on our notice board. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to keep up to date with all the relevant information regarding their child.
6.3From time to time, it will be essential for physical contact to take place between the teacher and students/peers. We always encourage safe practise and support students when doing so.
6.4In the event of a session being cancelled due to conditions out of our control, fee’s will be non-refundable, students will be invited to join another class.
