Privacy Policy & Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct for Students
At Studio 21 Biloela, it is an expectation that students:

Conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards other students, staff, visitors and studio equipment and facilities at all times
You will be asked to ‘take 5’ away from an activity if you are demonstrating unsafe practices. A staff member will discuss respecting the safe boundaries of the class and respecting others learning before you are welcomed back to the activity.

Arrive at least 5 minutes prior to scheduled classes.
Late arrivals may be refused entry due to the risk of injury or class disruption.
- Present themselves in a tidy and well-groomed manner, hair tied back neatly and off the face, wearing the appropriate Studio 21 uniform for class with the correct footwear where specified (school uniform is not permitted)
Bathrooms are available at the studio for changing

Bring a full and clearly named bottle of water to each class

Attend classes regularly unless ill, injured or in the event of a family emergency or extenuating circumstances
- Honour prior commitments made to the studio
- Attending scheduled classes, rehearsals and performances above other social events

Serve as a role model at all times including appropriate language and behaviour
- Switch mobile phones or other electronic devices off or onto silent during classes

Put rubbish into the bins provided and clean up after themselves.
- Ask for help when needed – the staff are there to help you!
Code of Conduct for Parents/Caregivers
At Studio 21 Biloela, it is an expectation that parents:
- Conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards other students, staff, visitors and studio equipment and facilities at all times
- Download and access the Parent Portal app and set up. Families are also invited to be a part of the Families Facebook Page.
- Take responsibility in managing emails and keeping up-to-date with current activities and important information within the studio.
- Ensure invoices are paid up to date
- Access calendars and updates in Class Manager
- Ensure siblings of students are supervised at all times, leaving waiting areas are left clean and tidy
- Refrain from entering the main studio unless invited by a teacher, this includes studios that are not in use and extends to siblings as we keep many personal and educational items in these spaces.
- Attend ‘Show and Share’ opportunities for your child’s classes if you wish
- Understand and support Studio 21’s approach in encouraging students to show commitment and positivity, having a go and working to the best of their individual ability.
- Seek permission from Studio 21 staff before taking photographs or videos of students.
- Raise questions or concerns with a teacher or staff member
