Terms and conditions
Bullying will not be tolerated and we encourage both students and parents to inform us of any incidents so that they can be dealt with appropriately.
Students must have mutual respect for other students and their teacher. Dancing is fun and to be enjoyed by all, so we ask each student abides by this simple philosophy at all times.
A certain amount of risk is carried by any physical activity. Students taking part in any classes do so at their own risk.
For safety uniform/appropriate clothing/footwear should be worn and no jewellery/watches should be worn in class.
We expect all pupils to show respect for the studio at all times.
Physical contact may be necessary when helping to demonstrate or correct.
Children under 16 years old are not allowed to leave the studio unless accompanied by an adult. Please inform reception or your child's teacher if someone different is collecting your child.
Please inform your teacher of any injuries before class. You may be advised to observe instead of participating.
Swagga Dance Academy reserves the right to change fees or timetables without prior notice. However, we will endeavour to inform students and parents of any changes as soon as possible.
Swagga Dance Academy cannot undertake any responsibility for any items lost or stolen although anything we do find will be placed in lost property.
Fees are non-refundable. If a class is cancelled fees will be deducted from the forthcoming fees unless the class is cancelled due to unforeseen/uncontrollable circumstances (eg. adverse weather conditions) In the case of a local/national lockdown all classes will be moved online and charges will still apply.
Pupils may on occasion be photographed or filmed during class and performances. As a member of Swagga Dance you are agreeing to this, unless you have otherwise stated on your enrolment form or informed our admin.
Swagga Dance Academy reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
Payment methods:
All of our classes are payable monthly in advance. Invoices are sent to the email address you provide on the enrolment form around the 10th of each month. Fees are due by the 20th of each month. Any fees not paid in time will affect your child’s place in class as we have waiting lists for the majority of them. Invoices must be paid regardless of attendance to class.
Classes are priced as follows:
£14.67 per month for each 30 minute class
£18.33 per month for each 45 minute class
£22 per month for each 60 minute class
A month’s notice must be given when dropping classes.
If a class is permanently terminated and there is not an alternative class that is suitable then fees will be refunded. If you choose to leave and any other classes are unchanged you will be required to pay for your notice period for those classes whether your child chooses to attend or not.
